Yet another example of uno’s complete lack of efficiency
They decided to revamp the shuttle app at the beginning of the year, when the shuttle is at its busiest. They didn’t do it during summer for whatever reason. Whatever. It was supposed to be up September 5. I am writing this on September 30, and they’re still ‘working on it.’ It makes life a whole lot harder as a college student when you don’t know how many shuttles are going or when they’re supposed to arrive at your stop. Speaking of which, they’re not great at actually predicting when the shuttle will come to your stop. The shuttles are oftentimes later than the app says they’ll be. For a school that siphons every last cent out of their students, uno sure doesn’t provide good services in return.

The app doesn’t load
I really wanted this app to work as it would be great for planning stuff out and for school but it is forever stuck on a loading screen and keeps erroring out. Not even worth your time downloading it if it doesn’t even work
Waste of time
This app is completely useless, it gives “time estimates” which just says the shuttle is 2 minutes away, when in reality it is going to be another half hour. The tracker is always wrong and you can show up to a shuttle stop 40 minutes early and you will STILL be late. This app hasn’t been updated in YEARS. This should be a crime with how much students pay in tuition. Especially in the colder months. How is UNO going to have the worst parking situation and ALSO have the worst shuttle system?? So disappointed I genuinely considered switching schools.

Great Idea, Needs Some Refinement.
The app is awesome for knowing how to plan my day around UNO without taking my car everywhere. This helps me save gas and a possible ticket. So, the apps purpose is great.
However, the way the app is integrated is pretty poor. The use of a web interface throughout is asking for some sort of incompatibility down the line. Native use of iOS's programming would significantly improve the look and responsiveness of the app overall. Also, for bonus points, integrate the shuttle tracker into the existing UNO app!! I don't know about others, but I hate when I need to download more than one thing and have another icon on my phone, especially if they are from the same organization. A one-stop shop style app would not only be more convenient, but look more professional in my opinion. The only reason for my star rating is really just the implementation of the idea rather than the concept.
