Can’t log in
No option to log in through Google account. I don’t have a password. I created my account by connecting to my Google account. Please fix this. Thanks!

Poor app, waste of time
I tried to use this app to find jobs to apply for, but there are very few jobs, and almost all of them are a relevant. I also checked out the forum feature, but it is filled with spam. Every other post is somebody asking for a referral. Downloading this app was a waste of time.

A few screens do not have an option to go back. We don’t receive notifications similar to the web application

The overall UI of the app is beautiful, however the forum tab doesn’t work properly at all. It constantly gives errors (“We couldn’t find the post you were looking for!”).
I would love a dark mode theme. Now that iOS 13 supports system wide dark mode, it would be nice to be able to automatically change to dark or light themes depending on the users system setting.
Also, the font seems a tad too small.

Very good forum for job interview discussions
I am loving this website/app for discussing about job positing and interview experiences.
Also there’s a bug in your mobile version website. Tapping on notifications is not doing anything. Instead whatever link is present behind the notification menu is getting accessed. Please fix it.

Great app for students but some annoying bugs
I recently discovered this app. As a CS student looking for internships this an awesome app to learn about other experiences and opinions as well as companies and related events. However, the mobile app has some bugs in my opinion. Once you make a search for a company and click the company to learn more about that company, there’s no way to go back to the list of companies. The same happens when you click share, it takes you to a new page but there is no way to go back from there, also the links to the social media platforms doesn’t work either. Another issue I found is that if you are in a different section, let’s say forums and you go to the bottom nav bar and click discover, you go back to discover but if you are on discover and you click it again nothing happens, my question is: shouldn’t that take you to the “home discovery page/view”? The app is great but those issues are a bit annoying, I have to close the app and open it again to be able to go to the main view and make a new search. If the issues were fixed I would definitely give the app 5 starts 🙂

There’s a bug where there’s no back button when you tap on a company.
Terrible app
Nice forum like blind to chat with other interns, but the actual app is pretty awful. I don’t appreciate having to log in every time when I want to access the app

Constantly asks me sign in while submitting applications and cannot upload my resume.
Fake reviews and they mine and steal your data!
Poor platform design, and even worse security precautions. In a world with online privacy concern, they do nothing to protect you. Fake reviews all over the place. Even their employees are posting reviews that aren’t by the users. It’s utterly blatant.

Not able to log in with newest update. Previous version had issues with showing messages. But the current one won’t log in.
Useless app for students
Before using Jumpstart, I already had internships from top tech companies(Facebook/Google/LinkedIn...).
My school is a state university, I got no messages from the app.
For internship hunting, I think sites like LinkedIn, Handshake are much more helpful than Jumpstart.

I had hope for jumpstart, but their app is still really buggy and unhelpful
Fake Reviews
All of these reviews are fake and were orchestrated as part of an early app release process. I have been using Jumpstart for months and have never once had any contact with any employers. As one other reviewer guessed, Jumpstart is probably here just to steal your data.
At any rate, the app will not increase your chances of employment by any margin and is therefore falsely advertised.

Inflated reviews, here is the truth
Good idea, literally no results after months. Just there to take your data. Would not recommend this app, it is a waste of your time. Promised that recruiters would get back to you but in reality nothing has happened. I advise everyone to avoid downloading this app at all costs, the reviews are inflated because of the advertising early in the app release, but ask anyone if they actually got any results.

This app and platform finally offer a different streamlined approach to the all-too-common tech recruiting processes. I feel like I can present my true self to potential employers with this seamless interface and gain access to exclusive opportunities I wouldn’t have found elsewhere. 10/10 would recommend!!
