The record of what you have done to your home. Three years from now something will break and you will stand there asking the same three questions. When did we last do this? Who did it? Is it still under guarantee? Upkeep is the only place that will know. A LOG PER PROPERTY A house, the flat you rent out, your mother's apartment. Each keeps its own history, its own running total and its own list of what is due. Add as many as you look after — nothing about the app assumes you only have one address, and an apartment is treated exactly like a house except that it gets asked for a unit number. WHAT GOES IN AN ENTRY What you did, and which of twelve categories it falls under — plumbing, electrical, heating, appliances, roof, structural, painting, flooring, doors and windows, pest, garden. The date. The room. What it cost. Who did it: you, or a name and a phone number you can tap to call them back. Any guarantee on the work. Notes for the next time. Photos of the burst pipe, the new stopcock, the receipt. THE JOBS THAT COME ROUND Mark anything as needing doing again after a few months or a few years — the annual boiler service, gutters before winter, the chimney. It then sits at the top of its property when it falls due, in orange when it is close and red when it is late, and your phone reminds you on the morning of the day. When you have it done, tap Log again. You get a new entry already filled in with the title, the category, the room and the same tradesperson, and the schedule moves onto it. The old entry stays exactly where it was. Nothing is overwritten and nothing is a checkbox: the log is a history, and history does not get ticked off. WHAT IT HAS COST YOU A running total per property, what you have spent this year, and a breakdown by category — so the answer to "how much has this house actually taken" is one tap away, and so is the answer to which part of it keeps taking it. FINDING THE ONE YOU HALF REMEMBER Search covers the title, the room, the notes and the person who did the work, because that is where a half-memory actually lives. "That guy who did the boiler." "The thing in the back bedroom." Filter by category, using only the categories that property has actually used. YOURS, ON YOUR PHONE No account, no sign-in, no email address, no password. Nothing is uploaded anywhere — the log lives on your iPhone and nowhere else. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party code of any kind in the app. Requires iOS 18.
