I used this app to find childcare for my infant I posted what our needs were and I started receiving responses from daycare providers with availability within 2 days the provider we chose to go with is fantastic and we couldn’t be happier with her.

My app no longer shows me the photos my provider sends me. I get a notification stating a moment was shared with me but only old photos are shown.

Terrible Communication and Support
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience using this app. Despite inquiring with multiple childcare providers, I never received a single response. To make matters worse, even customer service failed to get back to me after promising to follow up.
If you’re considering using this app, be prepared for poor communication and frustration. It feels like no one is actually monitoring or managing the inquiries, leaving users without the support they need. I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone looking for reliable service.

As a provider I have been using upwards since the last three years. I found it really useful. All kids under my care were enrolled through upwards and I always get my payments on time. I get timely updates and quick response in case I have a question. I recommend them to all providers and also families looking care for their kids.

A great resource connecting families with providers
When I became a registered home childcare, upwards connected with me, and we help provide care for military families during drill weekend. Quality care is hard to find, especially on the weekends, and upwards is a great tool for connecting families in need, ensuring the providers are also taken care of. Thanks to Frankie in customer service for crushing it and being a great communicator every time we have to hash out scheduling, because we all know childcare and scheduling can he challenging. I recently heard about the UPWARD app, which helps service members find childcare during drill weekends. I decided to download it, and Ms. Frankie contacted me right away, walking me through how to use the app and answering all of my questions. She was extremely helpful, engaging, and thorough in assisting me with finding daycare.
Thanks to Ms. Frankie, I found a daycare quickly. She even took the initiative to speak with the daycare director, handling the payment process and checking our eligibility. The whole process was fast and smooth.
I highly recommend this service to all service members. I hope the program continues to help others like it helped us.

Horrible app. What I hate most about this app is how there are many job listings posted and when I go to message/ apply I’m directed to the same “upwards parent support team” which I hear nothing back from at all . I really should be able to contact the parents directly. Or at least be directed to a single agent . Even on other rare job listings where there is a linked “agent”. He/she never responds or I receive the same automated response of “we’ll get back to you” etc. Waste of time and money for background check. Take your listings and experience elsewhere !!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry you have not had a good experience with our job board. Jobs are posted by families and Upwards Care Navigators. Families manage their listings and are responsible for responding to inquiries and arranging tours. Our Care Navigators facilitate the childcare search for corporate and military families. Reached out to about ten daycares through this app to "request info". Not a single one responded, and also I'm banned from reaching out to any more.
Save your time and steer clear of this app. Clearly it's just harvesting our data and has no intention of actually fulfilling it's advertised use.
