Glitchy & Dissatisfied

Really needs an overhaul this app, it’s glitchy, doesn’t navigate and some buildings are not even on the map

glitchy and bad

i’m a first year undergraduate and was really relying on this app to help me but it just made me more lost. Your location dot doesn’t update, or show the direction you are facing, so you basically just guess where you are going based off landmarks that are misplaced on the map. i wish those little tips were fixed to make the experience much better :)

Completely useless

Just use Apple or Google Maps instead. Way less glitchy and way more functionality.

Old app was way better and easier to use

Lots of difficulties to use and does not show active tracking when walking, etc. :(

Fix screen dimensions

Some of my screen cuts off on IPhone 11pro - just needs an overhaul for usability. It’s like it was made for the iPhone 7 and hasn’t been updated since.

Really really really rubbish

Pls pls pls improve improve improve. Search bar needs to allow for key words and/or specificity (ie building 39A, general purpose north 3). It’s only slightly slightly helpful if ur on your first day at campus and are trying to find the great court, other than that legit useless. Worse than it used to be. I literally adore uq, but detest the uselessness of this app

Opens a random link

Every time I open the app, a random page is opened called like “tr.snapchat” something. It’s really weird that UQ Nav is opening links without permission. Please fix this!

求求更新app吧

完全用不了 这么久了 也不更新 真下头app 没下载的 别下载了 照样校园找不到北

New Maps are terrible

I use this apps from time to time to show new students how to get to their building. However today when I open the map I wasn’t able to recognize campus at all. All buildings are not visible and the map looks like big mess. Even after finding my location I was sure what I can see. And I know this campus very well. Sorry guys but you have done terrible job.

Not helpful at all

This app is trash

iOS 12.0 and earlier: no support!

There is no support for anyone using iOS 12.0 or earlier, so anyone using a straight iPhone 6, any iPhone 5 or iPhone 4 can't use this app. I used this app before the 2020 update and cannot anymore.

Could be improved

It would be fantastic if the app stopped defaulting to “hybrid map”

New update

The new update is terrible, it is much harder to follow the maps compared to the old version and doesn't take into consideration someone who's walking which is all anyone ever does at uq that uses the UQnav app. I think it should be changed back ASAP because it's useless and actually gets me lost more often than not.

ubfriendly to iphone5

There is no searching bar on the top in iPhone5…but iphone6 has…😂😂i have nowhere to input building name to search…

Not great for the spatially challenged

This app is probably fine for people who can look at a map and work out how to do it. As far as I can tell, it's accurate and up to date. But if you're like me and need to turn a map to match the direction you're facing, it's useless. I can't tell which way to go using it, have to try a path and see how my location changes on the map (& invariably try a few directions). Not worth it for me

Update is no good!

The previous version was great but since the update the directions take on round about ways taking a lot longer than necessary especially when I get lost. I have heard from students that they have not found this version useful. Bring back the old one!

Good, but not great

While the app is good (and fast) for finding buildings and facilities, there's a lot more that could be included. A friend showed me the Griffith app and it's got a lot more going for it. Would love to see something like it for UQ.

Nice app

Easy to use.
Good for first year students.
Keep it up UQ!!

Really helpful

Would be slightly improved by making maps available offline; by slightly changing the navigational dots so that the marker that shows where you are and the marker that shows where you want be look different; by being able to zoom in and out of the maps in navigation mode; and by the addition of at least key phone numbers.

Otherwise, this is a seriously great and super useful app, thank you so much.

Out of date map

The map is at least two years out of date. No point having a navigation tool to buildings not even shown.
