If , had a chance to give this app 0 or negative rating I would gladly give it , they scam coins and keep increasing the prize . A student had booked the demo class and never responded to me , my coins were cut because the student booked the demo class without intimating me , now when the time came for demo class the student never responded , so I told back end team my situation and they had promised a refund after 15 days , after 15 days they told no refund because the refund police is the student should camel the demo within 2 hours of booking , they make up new rules scam their own customers

My Suggestion:
If you are a new tutor thinking of registering, I would advise you to stay away from UrbanPro for now and explore other platforms. I am also planning to deactivate my account here soon and move to a different platform.

Charging high per enquiry
I have been on this platform for very long. Always appreciated the opportunities they provided to the tutors. However, recently I am facing a lotttt of difficulties. First of all, per enquiry they are asking for “203” coins(this is too much). So if I get 800 coins I can contact only 3 students and again I have to buy more coins. Secondly, what has happened to your payment page urbanpro? Why unnecessary charges are added in the end. Also, there is technical glitch while doing the payment. The amount shown is triple the actual amount. Is this some kind of scam? I have recommended this app to so many tutors earlier but I don’t know whether it is credible or not anymore. It is a genuine suggestion from my side- lower the number of coins charged per enquiry. Earlier it used to be 40coins per enquiry. 203 coins is 5x more.

This app is a complete waste of money. I paid 590 for an enquiry, but no one answers the calls or responds. The app is fake. I get enquiries every day, but none of them result in any work. We pay money and then have to contact them ourselves. I regret paying; from now on, I will never pay again. My 590 Rs is wasted.

I had just subscriberd for pro plan couple of days back and now they have automatically logged me out of the app and I am trying to login back via otp and they are not sending me otp after multiple attempts, fix the issue or I will have to take legal actions , I have all the receipts of the payment done via razor pay to urban pro

Disappointed
I had a very disappointing experience on UrbanPro. Many people who registered themselves as students were actually tutors pretending to be learners. When I contacted them, I lost my coins, and only later realized they were not real students. This wasted a lot of time and almost all of my coins. UrbanPro should verify profiles more strictly and prevent tutors from registering as students. I hope the platform improves its verification process so genuine tutors don’t lose their hard-earned money and effort.

Do not purchase the membership guys. I paid 699 rs for the membership to them and they didn’t update it in the app for so long and I emailed them as well and they told me to ask for a refund from apple pay as they cannot do anything about it. They scam people and take money from them and dont update in their accounts. Cheap tricks

BIG GLITCH
The platform charges you for showing more leads, within the app starting with the launch of the application, setting up the account and sending enquiries, everything glitches. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the application it doesn’t work and keeps loading. And I read other people’s reviews where they clearly mention about being overly charged with commission. I lost my money on the first day and didn’t get any leads so I will say, stay away. It’ll work fine till you make an account and pay them 590.

FRAUD AND SCAMMER
Such a fraudulent app. They will ask you to buy a premium so that other students can make queries. I honestly bought the premium, but to GIVE answers to the queries, you need to spend 143 coins! which they provide in exchange for payment. You pay for the subscription, and you know what they do? After asking 5 to 6 queries, you run out of coins and have to buy more! Then they use a fake number and call me, claiming they need tuition for LLB and so on. I asked the student, 'Tell me about your syllabus and which semester you are in,' but he was completely clueless. When I inquired about the new syllabus, there was no response. So, stay away from this. They are running a scam!

App interface is frozen all the time!
For last few weeks for almost every time I open the app on iPhone, it’s always frozen o the home page. Nothing responds for minutes. It’s an utter shame and disappointment. Will stick the web page only. Needs huge improvements in the app on iOS.
Worst thing ever
They just keep on charging you, just to respond to student enquiries. Once you get a student, then also they’ll take a commission. Why these double charges? Unless we get a student, why do we need to pay the platform? Its like you don’t even get students to teach, but you’re still paying just to be there on the platform.

Why there is always problem with this app. First of all UI is not user friendly , for tutors and many of my clients told the same. Secondly, always there are some errors and now I wanted to get new clients but msg is not going so I logged out and now M not able to login. I don't know what you guys are doing. Scamming tutors of their hard earned money
Charging 26% commissions on every transaction. Dictating terms student/ tutor communication. Using dummy/ spam number to call prospective clients and those call never get picked up. Charging tutors ‘coins’ to contact student even after a tutor is paying for a membership. This whole app is a fraud. Please don’t waste your time here unless you want to spend 50-60 thousand first in paying these guys to get you verified, validated and authenticated first. All of which is just a manipulation tactic to get the tutors to keep paying them.

This app has literally stopped working for ios users, as soon as home interface opens you click anywhere it won’t work, doesn’t move top to bottom, message doesn’t work even after multiple attempts. It has been terrible experience using this app, sometimes happen with website as well on laptop. Idk why these are not getting fixed from company

Snatches money from Tutors
The application snatches money from tutors just for communicating back to a prospective student, even if the student and teacher has not signed up. This is a wrong model. There is no control whether the students are genuine candidates- or fake profiles. The tutors end up in connecting with these people paying money and getting nothing out of it. I think the business governance is completely missing. Needless to say its a new app with lot of technical issues.

Absolutely worst experience as a tutor.
Being a tutor since longtime on UrbanPro , I’m currently experiencing lot more issues to get right contact. First thing is the prices for membership for tutor got high and secondly for every student request 75 coins and that too not verified contacts. Out of 10 contacts 8 are not responding or not even reply on the text that means not verified from UrbanPro. I really don’t understand what the benefits to request for training?? It’s really pathetic as Tutor.
