Has not worked on iPhone for last 6 months or so - what a complete waste of money this URC kit was! Come on URC update the app!

The app follows no known user interface design principles. And on top of that, it's ugly.

Never works and is so hard to use
They took a bad app and made it worse
Mobile 2.0 was bad enough. But Mobile 2.5 is worse. They removed the old Rotary control for TV that enabled you to select menu or TV Guide! The rotary dial symbols was replaced with something more cryptic that does not allow you to open the TV Guide.
Problem with app on IPad
For several years we never had any issues with the app now my IPad constantly gives me the message your TOTAL CONTROL SYSTEM CANNOT BE FOUND. I try restarting both the IPad and the URC Base station and sometimes it works however it is usually for a short time before the problem reappears. Please fix and update the app!

Fantastic
I use this in all of my properties and yacht. Makes it super easy to control from anywhere in the world! We need widgets most certainly and Siri Shortcuts now!
Very frustrating!!
This software is intermittent. Some days it works and some days it doesn’t! Quite frustrating if it’s your only means of controlling your home theater system!
Clunk clunk clunk
You hear that noise? It’s the CLUNK of this app. My god I’ve never used such an unoptimized app it’s honestly ridiculous. Hardware is good, app is AWFUL. I bought a house that had URC gear (very expensive) already installed so I’m forced to use it. Just terrible.
Slow. Dated. Clunky
It does not connect to the app very well, and when it does it is slow. It looks like the app has not been updated in years.
Not working for IPhone
Since the recent update for both iPhone and this app, I am now unable to access any of the features on the app. For example: AirPlay, Internet radio, aux cable and LG tv are now not working. This is very disappointing and I hope you sort it out soon, please!
Latest version buggy.
You need to try opening up the app on my iPhone 4-5 times before it finally opens. This is new. Never had this problem with prior versions.
In addition the app isn’t very responsive. Controls open delayed and react slowly to taps.

Frequent Connection Issues
Frequent URC Mobile app errors when trying to connect with my iPhone. This app is completely useless 95% of the time because if you can’t connect then you can’t use it. :-(
Very buggy
We’ve had so many issues with this app. It always gives us an error. It either says Your Total Control System was not Found or Error Connecting to Base Station. The only option (try again) does absolutely nothing to fix it. I always have to pay my provider to come out to fix the issue. In the meantime, I can’t use my tv. He was just here about two weeks ago and the problem is already back. What a hassle.

Stopped working with lates apple update
The hi screen just freezes out doesn’t respond , works fine on older decices still

Rarely works the first time. Have to delete the app and reinstall every time. URC in general feels dated.
Screen Never Shuts Down
If you use the app and forget to close it it just stays on for ever and ever - somehow it stops your phone from going to sleep.
No watch support so you have to use your phone to do the simplest things.

Works great, one of the best control system apps available. However, needs to be programmed properly by your AV Integrator.
Most of these negative reviews are most likely people who don’t have it programmed to work with the iOS app through their URC dealer.

When I log in it says unexpected response from the basestation.I Don’t know how to fix this

As long as ANY automation system is programmed right by the integrator it will work excellently such as this one.
