Perhaps the worst streaming app ever; Versant imbecilic at best
By far the worst streaming app I have had the displeasure of using. The imbeciles at Versant decided to destroy the app and take it offline for months. Then they realize: “Oh wow! It’s 2026 and we own a TV network. We PROBABLY should have an app… Oh wait!! We DID have an app and took it offline.” Now it is back and nearly unusable. The English Premier League is constantly shamed as long as they are partnered with such a terrible network (move it ALL over to Peacock please). The content is almost never available, does not work on TV (at least with fire stick) and it CONSTANTLY logs you out from your TV provider, often two or three times in a span of a couple of hours. It is INFURIATING to see such a rich, conglomerate company like this be REWARDED for being so awful at what they do and putting such a shameful product in the marketplace. It is truly too bad that they don’t suffer the consequences. Versant and USA Network - you are the absolute worst.

TV provider setting
Apple revamped their OS years ago to include a setting called “TV Provider.” The purpose of it is that you only have to enter the info once, instead of for each individual app. Guess which app STILL doesn’t take advantage of this setting? USA’s app is incredibly primitive. Hope the sports leagues that have contracts with you realize how behind the times you are, so that they’ll move elsewhere.

Forces you to re-verify your cable provider every time you open the app. Both mobile and TV apps. Creates a horrible user experience just to make it slightly more difficult for someone to share credentials.
Clunky, doesnt remember TV login
I use this app multiple times a week to watch Premier League matches. Half the time I open it, I get an error at launch, and every time without fail, I requires me to link my TV provider. It is remarkably annoying. Every day. Relogging in, every device I use. NBC, and peacock need to make some adjustments, this app makes me not watch to watch the matches because it is such a bad experience. This app is also not built and maintained by NBC, they outsource it to a random company — and it shows how poorly it is structured.

Holy not ready for sports! Let’s see, first click is always CC?!? Trying to fast forward and after one click it always jumps to CC or Start from the beginning. I have had to watch the starting ads 3 times trying to skip ahead in a Bundisliga match. Why did you have to pick up the Bundisliga in the US? It is virtually unwatchable!

Great for watching endless ads
Ads ads ads ads ads. This app ruins being a Premier League fan. It regularly takes 20+ min of ads before you watch a match replay now. And yes, I timed it. Unfortunately I now watch less often because of this app.
Feels like 2008
This app is awful. If I wasn’t a premier league fan, I’d never use it. But, unfortunately many games have moved from NBC Sports to the USA network. It’s a huge downgrade. NBC’s app was better than this in the 2000’s.
You can’t rewind 10 or 15 or 30 seconds. This is a standard feature on most sports streaming apps.
If you touch the screen while it’s playing, it freezes. You can’t even unpause most of the time. Just have to restart the app and watch another DraftKings ad just to get back to your game.
The volume. Wow. Even at 100% on the app, I can’t hear it over the noise of my garden hose while using headphones or over the road noise while in the car. If using your phone speaker, you have to strain to hear the voice of the commentators.
No start from beginning. Every other sports app now has this.
The resolution is terrible. Even FoxSports is better. It’s like watching early 2000’s “HD TV” while most apps offer true 4k now. On my big screen you can really tell how poor it is.
It’s an embarrassment that the premier league has to be shown on this platform after years of Peacock and NBC Sports, both of which have their issues but are far superior streaming apps.

Worthless app. Requires SEPARATE tv subscription service to access. Why. Paid app without requiring additional TV subscriber service is easy. Why not for USA network?
Can’t log in on roku
Terrible. Can’t watch epl anymore bc it’s impossible to log in via cable provider on roku. Totally useless.
Unreliable
This app is terrible for watching EPL matches. It doesn’t allow me to cast to my tv and it frequently shuts down and plays another ad in start up.
