USDA MIM Mobile

The Mobile Information Management (MIM) application, owned by APHIS Veterinary Services (VS), is used primarily by state and federal veterinary medical officers, private practitioners, and labs to keep track of animal inventory, animal movements, and conduct field tests. Data input by these MIM users is stored in the Enterprise Messaging Service (EMS) and then processed and forwarded to several destinations. Some of these destinations are the Animal Disease Traceability Information System (ADTIS); Surveillance Collaboration Services (SCS); USA Herds; and Veterinary Services Process Streamlining (VSPS) Live Animal Import (LAI), among others.
