Great for people who work with the public or love languages
In my city, students speak 160 languages, including languages not covered by DuoLingo, so an app that has 150 languages covers a lot of them.
This is the best app for reviving a language where the number of speakers is dwindling. Students just recently learned the importance of caring about vulnerable languages, and this is an easy-to-understand way to learn, preserve, and encourage others to learn a language with few speakers. It may end up being a curiosity experience more than leading to a job (though it’s possible to fill rare vacancies), but the opportunity to learn is something language enthusiasts should cherish.

This app gives everyone 26 free words and phrases in all 160 languages. By playing the games, you can also unlock a sizeable amount of more free content. But, after that, we do ask people to pay because, like schools need to pay teachers, we need to pay our language experts. We hope you understand.🙏

We want our customers to learn a language as it’s really spoken so we work with native speakers and use professional recording studios – usually our own one in London. Finally, we’re glad you like our app’s learning method which includes a speaking game which tests your recall of how words and phrases are pronounced and then compares your speech to our native speaker audio. Big thanks for your 5⭐ review, saying uTalk helps you learn really fast by associating pictures with the words and phrases you’re learning. We love that you get our learning method! The app also shows you how many points you’ve got out of the total along with progress bars in various places so please drop us a line at hello@utalk.com and we’ll happily point them out. It also simultaneously shows the spelling of the words you’re learning alongside the audio in a variety of places with a few exceptions because of how the learning games work. For the record, you should remain logged in for six months after you last used the app and we haven’t had any other reports of people being logged out like this. We understand you do not find out app fun but we sincerely hope you find it useful. It uses progressively challenging games to help you learn speaking and listening skills in any of 160 languages. It also works for speakers of 140 languages (by automatically defaulting to the language of your device) so offers more than 22,000 language learning combinations.
