We want our customers to learn a language as it’s really spoken so we work with native speakers and use professional recording studios – usually our own one in London. Finally, we’re glad you like our app’s learning method which includes a speaking game which tests your recall of how words and phrases are pronounced and then compares your speech to our native speaker audio. For the record, you should remain logged in for six months after you last used the app and we haven’t had any other reports of people being logged out like this. We understand you do not find out app fun but we sincerely hope you find it useful. It uses progressively challenging games to help you learn speaking and listening skills in any of 160 languages. It also works for speakers of 140 languages (by automatically defaulting to the language of your device) so offers more than 22,000 language learning combinations. We appreciate your (mainly positive) review and hear what you’re saying about our memory game. But, although it appears to be testing your memory of card placement, its real purpose is to get you thinking in your new language. That’s because you’re much more likely to get full marks by instantly linking the images to words and phrases in your target language rather than first translating them in your head. In fact, many of our learners start off hating this game and then go on to love it when they see the results it gives them. That said, we understand that we all have different learning styles and we wish you lots of success learning the way that works best for you. 💯
