V1 Coach

It’s taken me a while to get my bearings on V1 Coach, but there are a few things I really like about it compared to the original V1 Pro. Since all the videos on V1 Pro were locally saved (that’s what V1 explained to me when I went to the new App) it seems that they took up a lot of memory on my IPAD. Especially as I accumulated 5 years of students. The new app saves them in the cloud. I didn’t at first realize how that would help me, but now I can access my students from my phone, my IPad, or even my wife’s new IPad in case my own is not with me. I couldn’t in V1 Pro. Then, without having to upload them to my locker, they are already on my IPad even if I recorded them on my phone. That makes it possible to record a player’s swing with my phone even when I am not there for a lesson. As I walk the range line sometimes when I’m between lessons, I can show a player how he/she could improve their swing with some instruction. More than once that has resulted in extra students and lesson income.

I thought that I had already sent that one previously. Everything I said when I wrote it initially is still true.

One of the best features of V1 in general is the supporti given when an issue comes up. I just had a parent of a new juniors student give me the wrong email for her so that when I wanted to send her the video analyses I did of her lesson, they would not go through because the email was wrong. The parent had signed up on V1 Golf with the correct email address so when I tried to change the original email address to the correct one, I got an error message saying the email I was trying to change to was already in use.

I contacted V1 and Don gave me super assistance that allowed me to get all the videos for the young lady to her dad so that they could view them together. Thanks so much Don! Much appreciated. Dick Logan

V1 help from Don

I was struggling with a number of issues pertaining to V1 Coach. Videos were going through that were ending as soon as they started.
And did not know how to send videos to someone other than the current student. And I can draw lines now. Anyway, a big Thanks to Don.
