I can’t open the app now let alone update my site info. Adding photos or reviews is a challenge. Needs some serious fixes. VRBO & AirBnb have owner usable apps maybe trip advisor could take a page from them.
HORRIBLE APP! HORRIBLE COMPANY
I could never log into the app. I did password reset multiple time never received the email to reset. I deleted the app, re-install same problem continue. Customer service is no help!! On the phone customer service can’t resolve anything. They then escalate to different departments that bombarded me with email telling to try this and that but nothing ever work.
HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Stay away unless you want to waste time, money and get no booking? Then, go ahead.

Gone from best to worst
Once trip advisor was the go to website for holiday lets
Now it’s worse than useless
Why —- Can’t book holiday lets using a mobile
Atrocious software
Appalling backup
It’s unbelievable how they have let their crown completely slip
Worse than that they have let it slip and thrown it away
( no other words can describe how useless they are )
Even the reviews are rubbish
( google has seen to that )
Don’t waste your time —- go with a professional outfit

Rubbish.
App won’t even load, waste of time installing. Trip Advisor in general are awful to deal with as an owner.. I’ll just keep declining their bookings as they won’t listen to me cancelling my account. 😡
Can’t use - crashes on every login attempt
Impossible to use, crashes at literally every login attempt.
Certain functions do not work
The app won’t let me update the account information although it asked me to do so. After selecting the required information, the “NEXT” button would not work.
Waste of time
I was hoping trip advisor would help me expand my vacation rental reach. No such luck… I looked in the trip advisor site for my vacation rental - it’s not there. I found some separate TA site which has my rental pulled from vrbo… rate is wrong, pics are old and it doesn’t show up when searching nearby areas on the main TA site. No ability to search for a cabin or list nearby sites. So…. I go to the owner app and see the property I am trying to promote but it’s no where to be found. So I’d like help but there’s no body to call- no phone numbers for owners. I need help please!

Lots of texts but no support
I get messages about someone wanting to book.
I open it up and the request is not there.
Then get pissy messages from TripAdvisor saying they are going to rate me lower- even though I keep getting an error occurred try again

Can’t even download the app
The app won’t download so I have to rate it a 1 star
Pretty awful
Bad layout, illogical and hard to navigate. Prevents sharing photos or websites with guests so hard to pass on links to local attractions. Is a bar to good communication and needs a rethink. We get fewer bookings through this sight than others so I assume the guest interface is equally poor.
Needs a lot work
There is no access for owners. Why? Trip Advisor to use seems to function properly. As an owner it’s garbage. Can’t do this . Can’t do that. Can’t get in. Can’t respond. Wow. Something is very wrong.
Updates nil
Can’t update bookings, type in names, move from one page to next! You updated the app and now it is totally useless to a business. Well done
Need to catchup
Rival platform’s apps are much more user friendly.
There’s a lot you can’t do via this app and therefore have to login online to perform them - which is a chore.
Rival apps have better auto-response message templates which one can set leading up to a booking.
Also the option to archive/remove messages from the inbox. You can’t do this through the app.

Can no longer get in
For some reason my password stopped working. I’ve tried to re-set it a dozen times but I never get a password re-set e-mail. I am stuck having to manage my property from my iPhone so will delete my property advert from TripAdvisor. Their loss.
Sync is hopeless
When bookings on other platforms are cancelled the sync doesn’t work and I can’t free the dates on TripAdvisor although they show as free on the other one. Neither the app nor the online version will let me change it back to free.
App won’t let me log in code ver is failing
Put in username password and then it asks for the code that gets texted. Problem is the Texted number is to large by one digit! I’ve tried the first 5 but that fails too. So, this app is useless for me as of today! Also, the help to contact support will not let you choose a subject (which is required)... so you can’t contact them either!!!

The website's customer center called me asking to set-up the seasonal rates for our rental property. They care. Good. So I went to moble app trying to do what they asked.
The app not only doesn't let me to set the correct dates and keeps messing them up, it's also telling me I can't set the rates I want! It gives me suggestions like "Make sure that..." that do not make any sense in regards to what I'm trying to do!
The app is updated. Very bad app. Competitors have it together, sorry to say.
Want to try to make a suggestion about the technical issue? Good luck finding the contact info on line to send the message!

Does not cover all tasks required
I had to reload it on my I phone today as it got ‘stuck’ on one feature. It doesn’t cover enough tasks that you may wish to do, it’s not listed on the app selection page as Trip Advisor but can only be found under holiday Lettings (no mention of this anywhere on main web site so you have to track it down on the app selection list). It’s handy if you are out for the day to notify you of a new booking (so you can remove dates from your own booking system and you don’t double book). I don’t get many bookings from this system, Holidsy Lettings/Trip Advisor - probably because of their high ‘service fees’ they add on for the customer. Very enjoyable being able to do a review of a Trip Advisor product to see how they like it!!! Ha ha

Terrible
Downloaded the app. Get sign in page BUT nothing else. Of course I can’t sign in because I don’t have an account. Nothing is available to get out of that window or to close the application
