Top reviews

Unstable at best.

It keeps crashing. Unbelievably irritating.
It’s a real shame cos the contents are okay.

Buggy

Unusable. None of the training session videos actually load

No brainer

Great 1 stop shop, takes the guess work out of it and keeps me on track in the gym where I normally feel out of my depth.

Verification email problems

Been trying to get an email for a bit now. Would like to try this.

Brilliant

Great app and plenty in there for your training programs. Video demonstrations are very helpful as well.

Good app all in

Great workout structure

App stability seems to have improved significant in latest releases

It would be great if you could load in the alternative exercises with demos if needed during a session, rather than just having them printed at the bottom

(With a home squat rack you can do 99% of the gym programs but I don’t have a calf raise machine for example!)

Will not accept anything but a UK address as a billing address and will not even accept any non uk cards completely.

Glitchy

Good workouts and could be very good - spoiled by constant glitches and keeps booting you off your current workouts.

App keeps freezing and won’t progess

I love the app and the exercises, however it keeps freezing and the next exercise button stays greyed out especially when doing an exercise such as squats where it has taken your training weight from the 1 rep max. If this could be sorted the app is great.

Not even a taste

They make you create an account with your email and then immediately wall off the content unless you add credit card info.

Why not either make the app paid or ask for cc info AFTER the 14 day trial?

Response from developer

Hello, the free trial lasts 14 days and users are able to cancel any time before the 14 days without being charged anything at all. Requesting payment details to set-up the user account for the free trial is standard within Apple’s Terms of Service. The payment is handled through Apple's Secure Payment Platform. You can cancel in Settings -> (your name) -> Subscriptions -> Valēre -> Cancel Subscription. Thank you.

Crashed all the time

Couldn’t get the app to work at all, stalled, crashed or simply couldn’t get it to progress to the actual workout as the start rest button (itself very confusing?) was greyed out.
Wanted to send screen shots to the developer to assist but no ‘contact us’ as far as i can see.

I really wanted to love this app given the collaboration with Joe Skipper but came away hugely disappointed and wasted time trying to get it to work in the gym.

Note for the Developer, please introduce a contact us area or make it more prominent if it’s there aready

Awesome

Finally a strength app that works with the demands of long course triathlon training !

Takes the guesswork out of training

Absolutely love this app. It’s built a training plan around my specific needs and constantly adapts it based on how I feel after each session.

It even takes into account when my next competition is and tapers my training accordingly. Couldn’t ask for more and well worth the £5.99 a month.
