GREAT MESSY GANE FOR FRIENDS DURING THE SKL YEAR

Just a suggestion that might add onto the game!!

This game is really simplistic and adorable, just think there should be a way to look up someone’s name and pick them for a prompt, rather than a random set of 4 people😅

Fun stuff!

I love valid already! It helps me feel better about myself when getting compliments on this from people even idk who did it

Nice

I thought it was sketchy and it was going to steal my money (which I don’t have) or hack my phone, but really it’s just a nice app you can annoy your friends with and vote! Wish I didn’t have to pay to see who voted me saying they were gonna ask me to homecoming but oh well🥹 me and my one dollar will live on, Amazing app and do recommend

Awsome

It’s so fun to see how my friends think of me and it’s sooooo funny lol

Great app, just needs more activities!!

I was going to ask for y’all to make it to where we are able to message our classmates, but you guys already made the update before I can. The app started getting a bit boring, I think we should be able to text other schools too. But maybe we can’t due to safety reasons, it would be pretty fun though. I just think there’s something missing… we should be able to call and be able to link social media to our Valid easily. I’m not telling I’m suggesting!! This app has great potential, to become a widespread app. Also we should make another feature where the upcoming freshman’s can be able to get to know each other, with prompts it will be a great way to make new friends. And there should be a thing where you can see the persons profile picture, when doing the polls. That will help a bunch, I’m brainstorming right now. I need this app to be wonderful.

Some improvements

A lot of thease I’m sure are being worked on but a few things I think god modes price is a little to high I understand that everyone needs to make money but even then lower it and I’m sure a lot more
People would buy it I do like how you can get it for free after a long grind some fixes sometimes my whole school text in the gc having trouble getting in I also think that you should be able to refresh the question instead of skip and have more stuff to do along with like the option to not be anonymous thought it was kinda sketchy at first but it isn’t or atleast hasn’t been so far lol gravest app also my android friends are bummed they can join I get they can’t use contacts but they should be able to type in thier school and use it

AMAZING

Valid is great I love it so much me and my friends laugh about the polls at school would 100% recommend!!!!

Privacy issue

I never got this app and was sent a message mentioning the school I attend out of nowhere. I don’t know why I was sent this message as I believe it is an invasion of digital privacy. And I also don’t know why it knows my location to find my school.

Vaildddd

I am genuinely loving your freaking app I can vote for people without them knowing it’s me it’s so funnn

Not safe

This app is a great way for individuals to bully and for child predators to log on and get information on juveniles. This is not SRO approved!!

Say wahlahi

Very nice app

VERY Concerning Privacy Practices

I received a text stating that a classmate had sent me a compliment through Valid, despite never having the app installed or creating an account. This immediately raised concerns about how my phone number and school information were associated with the platform.

I downloaded the app to investigate and found that it requires users to provide a phone number and grant access to contacts in order to use the service. I was unable to find a meaningful alternative sign-in option that allowed me to use the app without providing this information. The app also requests location access, which seems unnecessary for a platform whose primary purpose is allowing students to send compliments.

I am especially concerned about younger users who may not fully understand the privacy implications of giving an app access to their contacts, phone number, location, or other personal information simply to use a social feature. Apps intended for students should make privacy protections and data collection practices extremely clear and should not pressure users into providing more information than is reasonably necessary.

I cannot determine how my information became associated with the app, and I am not claiming that the app is a scam or that it is involved in criminal activity. However, the combination of unsolicited messages, required personal information, contact access, and location requests was enough to make me uncomfortable.

I would STRONGLY encourage parents and students to review the app’s privacy practices and permissions carefully before signing up. In my experience, the amount of information requested felt disproportionate to the purpose of the app.

Response from developer

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We take user privacy seriously and would like to clarify how these features work. Valid may send text messages to re-engage users and notify them about activity on the platform. Access to contacts and location is optional and is not required to receive compliments. Contact access helps users find friends who already use Valid. Location is used only to help match users with their school; Valid does not store location data. We understand that permission requests can feel especially sensitive for students and younger users. We are committed to making the purpose of each permission clear so users can make informed choices about what they share.

HELP

This app is good but there is some downsides. When I would message people anonymously and then we can’t chat after it’s stuck in my inbox and I can’t delete and we can’t even continue chatting through it so it’s just there. Okay bye bye!

I love it

Valid is such a cool app to see who voted you and who thinks your the best at that thing. I love it, as soon as I got the app, I started playing immediately. I highly recommend it
