About

Your heart rate, from your camera. Valix uses remote photoplethysmography (rPPG), a camera-based technique that detects subtle color changes in your skin caused by blood flow, to estimate your heart rate without any physical contact. How it works Simply hold your phone in front of your face for 30-60 seconds. Valix's AI analyzes the video in real-time to extract your pulse signal and estimate your heart rate. Our CNN model was trained on the Multi-Camera Dataset for Remote Photoplethysmography (MCD-rPPG), a research dataset from the peer-reviewed paper "Gaze into the Heart: A Multi-View Video Dataset for rPPG and Health Biomarkers Estimation." Transparency built in Every measurement includes a confidence level so you always know how reliable the reading is. Valix shows you what it observes — nothing more, nothing less. Privacy first - No video is ever stored - No account required - All data stays on your device - No ads or tracking - Optional Apple Health integration Features - Non-contact heart rate estimation - Real-time signal quality feedback - Session history with trends - Export your data anytime - Educational content about rPPG technology Important Valix is designed for casual wellness check-ins only.
