You will make a lot more & drive a lot less with DoorDash, Instacart &/or Uber Eats.
They pay about $15 a hour in California to drive your own car & pay for your own gas 🤣? I signed up, but would never accept a gig if you start you will be way underpaid, less than minimum wage even, $40 to drive 80 miles round trip 15 stops and it would take 2-3 hours? 😂
I documented all of the offered wages for trips and have filed a complaint with the EEOC. They were trying to pay under minimum wage which is wage theft & illegal in the United States 🇺🇸

They did not pay me. After calling, calling, submitting tickets, they paid me lesser amount.
Fraudulent, scam company and business. They did not pay me for my shift that I completed and then they cancelled the shift two days after the shift was completed. Eventually, after calling and calling them and submitting multiple tickets with GigSmart they paid me but not for all time that I worked and was hired for. The woman on the phone was the same one Indian-accent woman who had multiple different western names pretending to be a different person. They are trying to gaslight and make people feel dumb like we don’t recognise the same voice of the same person with names such as Danny, Jessica, Jennifer, etc. First time when I called the person on the phone slipped up saying that the same happened to the other two drivers. Oh, did I mention that the job ad was saying max miles 80 miles, but the job from the store and back took over 130 miles, do they reimburse you for the extra 50 miles that were not unaccounted for? Of course Not! Stay away like from a plague. I’ll be submitting a complaint with the department of labor to look into them and other complaints that exist. Pay me my entire wage that I was supposed to get paid for my work and time.

Driver support nonexistent
I did an initial setup call with someone to set up my account and they couldn’t even send me what I needed during the call. The text came through about 30 mins later and I had questions because I had trouble setting up my account (the stripe setup link leads to an error page). I’ve been contacting them for a week already with no reply. They don’t answer the phone, don’t respond to text messages. the chat in the app doesn’t work, and they don’t reply to emails. I can’t imagine what it would even be like to be in an active delivery and needing help or even a customer that has had any issue with their delivery. Very poor service.

So many things wrong I can't even list them. I just want my information and account deleted !! How do I do so when every time I try, I get an error preventing me from doing so. Who do I contact immediately ???

I will never do business with this company again
They hired me through gig Smart and my shift prior to me returning with the bags, knowing I was still 18 miles away. I reached out seems like we had it resolved explained I paused it so I could add enough charge to my car too make it back after completing all the deliveries just needed to return their coolers since gigsmart is hourly I wanted to make sure they weren’t paying me for the time it was taking me to charge. They said no worries just update your timesheet and will approve it for you as they said completed the last drop off and they have yet to approve my payout so at this point, it’s starting to feel like I worked for free every time I’ve reached out they keep saying that they’ll get back to me I only took the job because I had to pay my power bill as of end of day today. My power is gonna get shut off because I wasn’t able to get paid. As it’s too much to ask them to approve the timesheet out of all the good companies I’ve ever worked with. This is the absolute worst.

Doesn't honor prop 22, horrendous customer service
Unlike Ubereats or Doordash they don't payout prop 22. Barely worth it. I hope it gets better.
Bad app
The app will not load keeps on crashing I am installing multiple times to been a glitch and it won’t give accurate information need some major Fixins of this And I don’t understand why he’s having issues
Using app OK, but gig workflow could be better
Let’s get to meat and potatoes - Initial Pay was: 123$ for 170 miles. After onboarding call, 133$ for 170 miles. Arrived at pickup location and there was an hour delay for prepared meals - 153 for 170 miles. There’s marketing that shows 50$ extra for 10 on-time deliveries (actually means showing up to pickup location on-time for each individual route). All-in-all, I thought payout would at least match # of miles with the added 50$ but in the end, after tax responsibility and wear & tear accounted for, net hourly was -5$ for 7.5 hours. On a better note, believe that the app is legit as I performed charity services and monies was deposited to my account via stitch. Short term, in a pinch, maybe. Long term, no Vamos.

Don’t pay there drivers after that do the routes successfully. Suppose to be instant cash out
Dobt work for them. They don’t like worst and liars, will tell you your money will be on your account in a couples hrs.. I ts 5 days later still no money don’t pay enough also for the headaches
Great Gig App
I’ve been using Vamo for quite some time now as a gig driver. Probably over a year or year and a half. I’ve always had such a positive experience when using the app. Getting jobs, picking up from different businesses and even working with their support team for help. I’d highly recommend.

Best for drivers
Vamo is by far the best delivery service for drivers that I have experienced. Door dash is awful, Instacart is saturated and Shipt doesn’t have enough work. Their support team is live and incredibly responsive and kind. Love working for this company.
