What's New in Vast Jr
1.1
October 20, 2026
Vast Jr 1.1 - The Balance assessment is now done with the live 3D coach, who holds each pose alongside your child. - Results come straight after an assessment, with the report written while you watch. - Home opens on today, and the whole app opens faster and more smoothly. - Vee is animated everywhere, with a hop, a wave or a curious look while you decide. - Streaks work the way children expect: today counts as soon as a session is done, the calendar shows every day trained, and you can step back through the months. - New streak goals: pick Good, Great or Incredible for a gem bonus. - In a session, you can listen to the instructions again, and leaving now asks first instead of losing your place. - Grown-ups: changing your email or phone number, or deleting the account, is confirmed by email. Assessments Balance is done with the live Unity avatar rather than still pictures, loaded behind the instructions so there's no wait. The tour and wording now say "assessment" and "exercises" throughout. Results and the Report No waiting screen after an assessment. Results opens immediately with a writing animation until the AI letter arrives. Home and the Opening Opens on the child's real day rather than day 1, with one blue loading screen from sign-in to Home instead of a blank page and a white flash. The Path tab is now Home. Vee Animated from Blender artwork on every screen he appears, with idle moods, seamless joins between clips and no blank frames. Streaks Today counts immediately, frozen days show, every trained day is marked, and the calendar steps through months. Sessions done today come from the server, so every device agrees. New streak goals pay a gem bonus. Sessions "Listen to instructions" in the panel, a prompt when the volume is too low, a close button to leave, Exit pauses rather than abandons, and a silent instruction clip can no longer trap the demo. Privacy and Grown-ups Terms and health and safety agreed once at sign-in, permission asked for the AI letter and logged on the server, a grown-up check before external links, sharing, profile edits and deletion, the old maths question removed, email confirmation for email/phone changes and account deletion, and OneSignal declared in the privacy manifest. Everything Else Text no longer breaks layouts at large system text sizes, the version label shows the real build, and badge counts stay put on Rewards. Server-Side Improvements Already live: an assessment pays its gems once rather than per test, shop prices, a streak freeze covers each missed day once, and Attention's personal best is now the assessment with the most correct answers.
