I own a beauty supply store. It does NOT work.
I signed up to monitor 16 cameras. since the installation, I have caught nearly 50 thefts that were not seen by veesion (not a single theft has been detected), and have gone probably over 100 times to put things in my pocket to test it. This software is not effective at all. They tell you it works but in the fine print you have to sit there and spend time finding the footage and sending reports and sitting and taking pointless phone calls about your report that achieve nothing but let you know “we seen your report”. I advise against this software. It is not effective unless you probably have very low ceilings and even lower foot traffic.

For groceries, there’s too many aisles and too many customers to follow. This system picked up stuff we totally missed. Shrink dropped after like a month using it. Sometimes it alerts on people who are not doing anything wrong but that’s ok, better safe than sorry. Really good addition for us.

We run a small beauty store and honestly this Al tool helped way more than expected. It doesn't catch everything but it alerts us on a lot of tricky moves, especially when the shop gets busy. Perfumes and makeup used to disappear a lot, now it's way better.

FINALLY
The AI is doing its job well. Sometimes the image replay takes a second to load but when it works, it really works. We managed to stop quite a few attempts thanks to the notifications. Good communication with support too. Overall very solid tool. Highly recommend.
