Poor functionality
Extremely poor performance. The password reset function is not allowing me to reset the password properly. Poor customer service when I called in to troubleshoot this error. Will likely move my accounts to another financial institution.
Great app! Total control of my Velocity cards.
This app is comprehensive and quick. I’ve never had a Velocity card account compromised (knock on wood) and this app is a big part of it. I will use my card in a store and receive an alert before I reach the door. If one of those alerts happened to be a transaction I did not recognize, the app would let me lock my card instantly. The peace of mind is invaluable.

Unable to Access Card Frequently
The Velocity CardLock app is great for ensuring no transactions are being made when you lock the card, but the app itself is frequently down. This means if you have your card regularly locked and need to unlock it to use it, there is a good chance you'll be waiting an indeterminate amount of time to be able to log-in and unlock your card to use it. There is no way of accessing your Velocity CardLock account online if the application is down, so if the app isn't working you basically don't have access to your card(s) which can be a pretty big issue. However, as someone who's Velocity card had been compromised numerous times before using this card lock app, it feels necessary for me to use it to ensure that someone doesn't try to swipe money from my account after using a gas pump. If there were some means of accessing a Velocity CardLock account either through it's own website, or maybe through a section in a Velocity Credit Union member's online banking account, that would make the app's frequent issues easier to deal with. Otherwise, having the servers be down less would be nice, too. Outside of that major issue, the app has been useful for ensuring my card and bank account aren't compromised, overall.

Really???
I have been using this app to keep my card turned off unless I am using it, as we have had major fraud on our account in the past. However, this week they locked my card and wouldn’t allow me to unlock it. I called and asked and the representative stated that I had turned it on and off too frequently and they would no longer allow me to use it. Really? I thought that’s what it was for. I have been a member over 20 years and getting really tired of the incompetence. Time for a change.
