Not happy

too hard to move around in the game and when I end the game and restart it it’s goes back to the beginning of the game and you need to start all over again

Terrible control and no options/settings

Hi,
the control is terrible on the iPad. And there is no (!) options page for adjusting the controls (left/right handed movement, speed…) or other settings like Musik and sound F/X. This is not what users are used to.

Terribly done

The game has no clues not hints, you have to somehow guess the combinations of everything, the chances of guessing the right combo without clues is a large endeavor. Never played one of these games so incredibly user unfriendly. The graphic’s is all they have going for them

Second chance

So, after receiving a developer response (thank you), I decided to give Venari another go. Really struggled at the start so I searched online for a walkthrough, found a good one and now I’m getting on much better! Still checking back to the walkthrough occasionally but I’m going great now. Thank you to the developer for the encouragement, dropped one star due to the movement being a bit clunky still but I’m glad to be giving the game a second chance! 👍

Almost impossible on an Ipad

Movement is very frustrating. Getting into the exact right position to interact with the puzzles is next to impossible. Game needs some serious work to make it enjoyable.

Response from developer

Hi there, if you can reach out to help@m9games.co.uk with the problems you are having with the movement then maybe I can help?

Wasted my money

I paid for this game, but it doesn’t work on my iPad even though it said it did in the description. Although I can move around the game I have no cursor so the game is impossible.

Won’t automatically save

Not happy, no instructions etc but spent time playing this. Went back to play again and was taken back to the start. Refund please

Clues? A user Interface?

This could have been a really interesting game but he clues were IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND among the overall decor/atmosphere, which was a real shame because the games actually had some innovation to them. But worst was the most awful movement system I have EVER tried to use for oof game and developers deserve to get paid and I want more games in this genre a game. I’m not trying to be cheap. I will pay for a genre, but charging $5 US for this game was a complete rip-off and I have NEVER SAID THAT ABOUT A GAME BEFORE

Response from developer

Thanks for the honest feedback, totally hear you, and I’m really sorry the experience left you feeling that way. I put a lot into the puzzles and atmosphere, so it’s a shame the movement and clue visibility got in the way. I really do appreciate you giving it a go and sharing your thoughts.

Eh

Movement control is slow to respond, graphics are rudimentary (like 1992 rudimentary, and it’s a battery drainer.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. I’m sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet your expectations. The game was designed with modern systems in mind, so I wouldn’t expect performance issues on most devices. That said, I’ll definitely keep your comments in mind as I continue to improve things. Appreciate you giving it a try.

Venari

I was almost through the game when an object was removed from my inventory. Needless to say, I couldn’t finish the game because I needed that object to solve the next puzzle.

Unplayable on iPhone

I have to give it 1 star, because the game is basically unplayable on iPhone. The notes and some clues are too small to read (and you can’t zoom in). The visual clues are too hard to distinguish from the background textures. And in an early puzzle, when the rock moves to reveal a visual clue, it’s so dark it’s impossible to make out. I gave up after that one. It’s such a shame, because it had such potential.

Was feeling disappointed to be working on Saturday when England are playing in the Euros but finding another M9 game has cheered me up no end 😂can’t wait to get stuck in, will review more on play through but looks great!
Edit: just finished this excellent game it was brilliant and well worth the price as a lot longer than previous games which I absolutely loved. Thank you M9 brilliant as usual.
I didn’t need instructions as it’s very easy to look for clues in the game and this is what makes these games so wonderful as they are so open plan and let you use your brain instead of spelling out the answers, you feel like you’re truly adventuring. Please support this fabulous developer.

Movement is crazy fast

I have played a lot of these virtual type of games. This one is crazy fast trying to use the controls. Moves wildly. Wish I had been able to try it before buying it. Please fix the controls.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback, sounds like the controls were a bit too lively! I’ll definitely take another look and see what can be done to smooth things out in future updates. Really appreciate you giving it a try!

Don’t bother!

Unfortunately wasted my money, virtually unplayable as it’s almost impossible to navigate and there was zero indication as to what you are supposed to be doing. Gave it a couple of attempts but now given up…deleted.

It could be a very nice game but…

The navigation controls are making me dizzy. Think in terms of Drunken Sailor dizzy.

Response from developer

Sorry to hear it made you feel that way — I actually designed the controls to avoid that kind of dizziness, so it’s a shame it had the opposite effect for you. I really appreciate the feedback though, and I’ll definitely keep it in mind for future tweaks.

So Great!

This is a really beautiful and awesome game. I loved the atmosphere, the story, the gameplay and the puzzles. This is the game I’m always hoping to find in the App Store! It’s very Myst-like. I’m already a fan of M9 games, but this one out-does them all. The only thing I thought could be better is the ending - it seemed kind of abrupt. But it wasn’t that big of a deal. Thank you for a cool game!

Ingenious

I’ve played almost all the escape game on Apple Store.
Some are just sublime, some have real nice graphics, some are intuitive, but yours is excellent!!! Story is good, graphics are ok but the best part of it, it makes you think ! The puzzles are just perfect, not to hard not to easy. I gave you 5 stars and that game deserve it. Please, make more games like this, Apple Store need those kind of tricky puzzles.
Thank you for your great job, and see you soon, I hope !
