About

Walk an exhibition, meet dozens of vendors, and still find the one with the indigo block-print cushions a month later. VendorVault turns the visiting cards you collect into a private, searchable database of brands, products and services. SNAP THE CARD, SKIP THE TYPING The scanner finds the card's edges and straightens it, then reads the name, brand, job title, phone, email, website, Instagram handle and address — right on your iPhone. You check and edit every field before it is saved. BOTH SIDES IN ONE GO Brand on the front, contact details on the back? Scan both sides and VendorVault combines them into one entry. NOTE WHAT YOU LIKED Add a category, the products or services they offer, what caught your eye, their booth number and photos of the stall, taken straight from your camera. EVENT MODE FOR BUSY DAYS Set the exhibition once and every card you scan that day is tagged with it. Save one vendor and go straight on to the next. FIND THEM MONTHS LATER Search across brands, products, services and your notes. Filter by category, by event, or by the vendors you still need to follow up. Scan someone you already have, and VendorVault offers to update them instead of creating a duplicate. GET IN TOUCH IN ONE TAP Call, WhatsApp, email or open their Instagram from the vendor's page — or add them to your iPhone Contacts with every detail already filled in. NEVER FORGET TO FOLLOW UP Set a reminder to call back about that order and see every pending follow-up in one place. SHARE YOUR SHORTLIST Export any list as a spreadsheet that opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No ads. No tracking. Cards are read on your iPhone, and everything you save stays on it.

What's New in VendorVault

1.1

October 5, 2026

A new look, and more help at the fair: • A fresh design in deep indigo, gold and card cream, with every card shown at its own shape. • Mark each vendor Must buy, Maybe or Just looking, and filter the list by it. Favourites have their own filter too. • Took a photo instead of scanning? Choose the card from Photos. • QR codes on cards now fill in the Instagram handle, WhatsApp number, website or full contact details. • Share a vendor's details, or open their address in Maps. • Export to CSV shows its progress and tells you when the file is saved or sent. • Fixes: sideways photos are read upright, leaving a half-filled vendor asks before discarding it, and the app explains what to do if its library can't be opened.
