Very easy to use.
This app and T2000 don’t work at all with WiFi!
I got the T2000 installed this evening. The Quick start and setup guide I got with it is totally worthless, not giving any clues on WiFi setup.
I downloaded the user guide, which gave good instructions for installing Venstar Configurator and connecting to WiFi, but even though my smartphone readily connected to the Venstar it would not connect to my WiFi after many times going through the setup procedure.
Also, I set up an account on the Venstar app, but after numerous times resetting my password it will never accept the new password I just set.
Hopefully the thermostat will work as well as my last 2 basic 7 Day/4 setting thermostats I’ve had over the past 30 or more years, but WiFi and Alexa connectivity are nonexistent. The only advantage over a 30 year old programmable thermostat is the display is easier to read.

Using with the Venstar T3800 thermostat and the Venstar ACC-VWF1 WIFI module.

You only use this app once (for each thermostat), this gets the thermostat talking to your Wi-Fi. Once this is accomplished you'll not need it again. This process took me about 2 minutes.
iPhone thermostat app is “Venstar Skyport”. This is an excellent iPhone app it will let you do most everything you would want to do with the thermostat.
I LOVE the red/green LED indicator on the Venstar T3800 thermostat, it is a unique feature that I simply cannot live without. (The LED indicator allows me to know what the thermostat is doing laying in bed with just one eye open. )
