VeraCast: Weather & Alerts

This update is a deep accuracy pass. Dozens of fixes, all pointed at the same idea: what VeraCast tells you should be true. Moonrise and moonset were off by hours. They are correct now, and the night sky reading can finally name the planets that are actually overhead. Saved cities sync to Apple Watch. Pick a city on your iPhone and your watch follows, complications included. Switching cities is honest again. Air quality, tides, and the radar map used to hold onto the previous city for up to an hour. They update the moment you switch. Watching a city in another time zone? Hourly forecasts, sunrise, sunset, and tide times now show that city's local clock instead of your phone's. Severe weather alerts hold up during big storms. The alert system used to strain when a single watch covered dozens of counties, which is exactly when it matters most. Also: allergy cards say "data unavailable" instead of showing a false all clear, UV and temperature swing notifications land on the right day, and widgets no longer show sample data before your first forecast loads.
