About

Offline structural engineering platform: organize project members, run code-aware designs, and export a submission-grade PDF with cover, member index, material schedule, and engineer credentials. PROJECT WORKFLOW • Create projects with job number, address, engineer profile (name, license, organization) • Add members across slabs, beams, columns, foundations, walls, and steel connections • Status badges per member: pass, fail, or pending • Recompute project: refresh members in dependency order, propagating slab loads to supporting beams • Submission-grade PDF: cover, member index, per-member calculation, material schedule, code references appendix REINFORCED CONCRETE DESIGN • Slab: One-way and two-way RC slab with deflection and crack width checks • Beam: Flexural and shear design with stirrup zone schedule (close-mid-close per ACI §22.5) • Column: Axial and biaxial bending with Bresler Load Contour and P-M interaction • Foundation: Isolated footing with punching shear, bearing pressure distribution, and optional settlement check (elastic plus consolidation) STEEL DESIGN • Steel Column: AISC 360-22 plus Eurocode 3 plus IS 800:2007, with class-aware flexure (compact, non-compact, slender) • Section catalog: AISC W-shapes, Eurocode IPE / HEA / HEB, IS 800 ISMB, plus JIS H and BS UB / UC • Steel Connection: bolted (A325 / A490, EC3 8.8 / 10.9, IS800 4.6 / 8.8) plus fillet / CJP / PJP welds RETAINING WALL • Gravity and cantilever wall types • Rankine, Coulomb, and Caquot-Kerisel earth pressure theories • Mononobe-Okabe seismic earth pressure analysis • Overturning, sliding, and bearing stability checks • Surcharge, backfill slope, and drainage conditions SEISMIC ANALYSIS • ASCE 7-16 / DPT 1302 / Eurocode 8 / IS 1893:2016 Part 1 • Equivalent lateral force procedure • Story force distribution with base shear WIND LOAD • ASCE 7-16 directional procedure • Eurocode 1 peak velocity pressure • DPT 1311 with database for Thai provinces • Windward, leeward, and sidewall pressures plus topographic factors SECTION PROPERTIES • Rectangle, circle, I-section, T-section, L-angle, C-channel, hollow rectangle • Area, centroid, second moments, principal axes, section moduli • Torsion constant, warping constant, plastic moduli, shape factor HYDRAULIC DESIGN • Darcy-Weisbach, Hazen-Williams, and Manning equations • Water supply and drainage modes • Pipe sizing with Reynolds number and friction analysis • Optional pump sizing with TDH and NPSHa LIGHTING DESIGN • Lumen method per ISO 8995 guidelines • Room presets (office, corridor, warehouse, drawing room) • Fixture layout grid, uniformity ratio, power density • Coefficient of utilization and light loss factor STEEL BEAM — LRFD PRECAST/TOPPING — two-stage checks FOUNDATIONS — combined footing, pile cap, single-pile capacity SHEAR WALL — RC checks BASE PLATE — bearing/shear EVERY MEMBER INCLUDES • Interactive 2D engineering diagrams with labeled values • Pass / Fail status for every design check • Material quantity estimates (concrete, rebar, steel) • Save to project or quick history for later restore DESIGN STANDARDS Concrete: ACI 318-19, Eurocode 2 (EN 1992-1-1), IS 456:2000, EIT 1008-38 (Thailand) Steel: AISC 360-22, Eurocode 3 (EN 1993-1-1 plus EN 1993-1-8), IS 800:2007 Foundations/geotechnical: total/effective pile capacity Seismic: ASCE 7-16, Eurocode 8 (EN 1998-1), IS 1893:2016, DPT 1302 Wind: ASCE 7-16, Eurocode 1 (EN 1991-1-4), DPT 1311 Load combinations: ASCE 7-16 / IBC 2018 §1605.2, EN 1990 6.10a/6.10b, IS 456:2000 Table 18, Thai Ministerial Regulation B.E. 2566 Cl.7 Lighting: ISO 8995 Pay once at $19.99. What's New in VerCivil

5.0.0

September 11, 2026

VerCivil 5.0 adds one-way slab, steel beam, precast plank with topping, combined footing, pile cap, shear wall, steel base plate, and single-pile capacity calculators. The new Project Load Link Editor connects reactions to receiving members and re-flags downstream results when links change. It also corrects Thai concrete/wind, retaining-wall, unit-conversion, and stale-result safeguards. Fully offline.
