Always tracking location for no reason
It’s so your employer can track you. Won’t work unless always using location

I have been using VeriClock as both a manager and as an employee for almost two years now, and I find the app very straightforward, easy and intuitive to use. The only reason for 4 stars, not 5, is I think the overall aesthetic of the app could be improved to be more visually appealing (which is a very minor concern not related to the software itself). The VeriClock team is great to work with as well!

Love this app so easy and user friendly
I’ve used this app for 4 years and love it. It’s super user friendly for the guys out on the job and does exactly what I need. It allows them to give me notes. Yes I had to take the time to set it up properly but that was easy and once I did it’s a simple tap for them. But I get the ability to export reports for t and m jobs on the back end with their notes.

Slow, and every iOS update breaks it.
It’s bad enough that this app is slow, and every time you hit a button, you have to wait 10 seconds for the app to respond. But even worse is that it seems almost every time iOS updates, it breaks this app and it just crashes on launch. This is a problem when my company requires me to use this app to get paid. The app literally won’t work, even after a reboot, after updating to iOS 15.0.2 on iPhone 12 Mini.

I’m not able to do time edit, the “save” button not available although it works fine on my friends devices.

Employee feedback
VeriClock is easy to use and very convenient for employees to clock in and out. The updates are a great step forward. Now able to search for jobs by name eliminating the hunting through all the different work sites. However there needs to be a PDF manual that new employees can read through if they aren’t familiar with this type of time keeping. There’s room for improvement in the app. Stay tuned and remember to clock out.

Use this app every day for work, alongside the website. Great that you can see your entire week’s total events and force sync.
Biggest issue is that when using the app to clock out of a shift, it’s about 50/50 if that will actually work or not. Super annoying for me as a manager as I then have to go in and fix all the auto clock-outs.
I wish I could see my team’s status on the app, too.

Hi LondonFox, we're happy to hear you're getting such great use out of the app! We're sorry to hear you have clock out issues, but are pleased to say that our service already has a solution! Offline clocking will let you store your clock events and then upload them to our service when your phone is next able to connect. Perfect for areas with spotty cellular or WiFi coverage. You'll also be happy to discover that you can see the login status of your entire team by using our Groups feature. It will allow you to see the clock status of each team member, manually clock them in or out, or manage group clock ins for all team members, right from inside the app!
