Won’t accept any bids I try to make. Emailed twice for resolution and nothing but crickets.
Basically Uship for equipment except with “hidden fees”
I am a carrier and I have been experimenting with this platform. I placed a few bids, and then wondered how exactly the platform is making money. I read the terms of service and found out that a fee is collected from the shipper, but it didn’t say how much, and upon searching for Veritread’s fee schedule, it was nowhere to be found. I called customer service asking the question about the fee schedule and it was explained to me that the fees are somewhere between 7-20%, but there is no way for a carrier to know. I explained how problematic it is that a carrier cannot see the added fee and the final price that shipper sees because Shippers use freight brokers and multiple sites to list their transports, and the final price is required to know if your bid is competitive. Even Uship and Shiply clearly show the fee added by the platform. I wish there was just one platform that had a fair and transparent fee schedule. Veritread is not it!

Mobile site better than App
When using the app versus the mobile site when bidding, the mobile site is more fluid and faster than the app. The information is presented better and easier to obtain than in the app. You have to open additional windows and even application (google maps) where on the mobile site it’s all presented on the bidding page.
