Vermillion watch
Very disappointed and frustrated no harpoon tip on deck so unable to unscrew compartment for heart so cannot insert heart and complete the game 😡

Too many times the Guide is needed. I thought that I could choose between the three locations, but I should have first gone to the ship.
Not for me.
This is a nice long game. The puzzles were just too confusing and therefore I skipped many. I didn’t find the instructions very clear.

The fight with Dorothy in the carriage doesn't work. Please fix or refund. iPad Pro.
Don’t even bother
Well, after three years of people complaining about a glitch in the Earth Room with the Dino mechanism the developers STILL haven’t rectified the situation and since you cannot proceed with the rest of the game, I just threw money out the window. I mean in three years you couldn’t fix this glitch? This shows nothing but laziness and no pride in your work. This will be the last game I purchase from this developer.

Dinosaur Button
The bug is still there when trying to complete the museum section involving the dinosaur head.
Be careful!
2 stars because though I was enjoying the game, I did something in the wrong order that wasn’t reversible, this led to me not being able to finish the game (I was 95% there) and so I couldn’t play the bonus chapter. Very annoyed.
Dorothy in the fight scene on the coach.
Absolutely frustrating and ridiculous!! I can’t get it work and have tried everything imaginable. Hint for this doesn’t work either. Please fix this for me so I can play the game or I’ll never buy an Eipix game again.
Anyone else not hearing the audio for DIALOGUES
Devs: Please update this and the apparent gamebreaking glitch pointed out in other reviews(dinosaur button) and I’ll totally purchase. Seems fun.

Puzzles
Unintuitive puzzles. Makes you feel stupid but there are literally no indications of what is needed to solve many of the puzzles. Wish I could ask for a refund. Never played a worse HOG ever.

I have played lots of these games. This has got to be one of the longest and best. An interesting storyline.
Adventure Puzzle/Escape game lovers - GET THIS GAME!
Ok, 1) I don’t write reviews. And 2) I’m pretty picky about my adventure puzzle/escape style games because the first puzzle game I played on the App Store that I paid for was The Room, and all of their subsequent sequels. So I am accustomed to pleasingly challenging, well thought out, well designed and relatively long-ish games. That being said...This game EXCEEDED my expectations! I thought I had reached the end 3 times before it actually ended, and even then there’s a short bonus chapter to complete! I thought I had played all of the decent to excellent adventure puzzle games out there but this game proved me wrong! The puzzles are a mix of easy to challenging without being ridiculous, and the customizable difficulty mode is excellent for people who want to make the game as easy, difficult or somewhere in between. Graphics are good, story is good, but the real shining glory here is the length. I usually get through one of these style games in maybe 2 days of intermittent playing. But this one was at least 3 days of regular multiple hour playing sessions.
If you get this game, which I hope you do, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I’m off to get the other Vermillion Watch game right now so I can continue to have my adventure puzzle game addiction satiated.

Very hard and very dark
I’ve been playing these types of games for years so when I read the other reviews below I was sceptical and purchased the game anyway. Unfortunately I should have listened. Graphics far too dark even when I repeatedly adjusted the brightness. Also, like the previous reviewers, I have never pressed hint so many times or skipped so many mini games even on the easy setting. Plus points - very ambitious game with good storyline. Good graphics - when you can actually see them. The game frustrated me so much it impacted on my enjoyment.

Terrible
Paid for it, now can not get past a silly fight scene with Dorothy in a coach. It just goes on and on and on. I follow the hints but it never ends. Very frustrating, no Skip. Frustrating waste.
Not intuitive. Too many hints needed
I have been playing hidden objects games for years and enjoy them. This one was terrible. Not intuitive, needed to use the hint selection often, even in casual mode. Too many mini games and not enough HOPs - which was super annoying. Not much fun to play. The story and characters are clever and the graphics are great, so I gave it 2 stars. Otherwise, it was a waste of money. I’m very disappointed as the other Vermillion Watch game was good. This was disappointingly bad.

Not good. Lots of things are too small. some of the scenes where you have to find hidden objects are too dark and dim to see objects. There’s too much automated motion to drag you around the game. I’ve never seen a HOP game that moves your player so much.You’re not allowed to move yourself nearly enough

Bugs
This game had a lot of potential. I really like the series and world they’ve created. I thought bringing in the Wizard of Oz characters was hokey. I was enjoying the game, albeit frustrated with the map and having to use the hint button more often than I liked. Until I reached the bug that halted my game play: the dinosaur and red button. I attached the oxygen tank, press the red button and nothing happens. No amount of app closing, iPad restarting, hint pressing, or finger tapping has helped. The game is broken and I can’t move on. Which is complete BS and needs to be fixed. Don’t buy until it’s updated!
