This app has saved me from so much annoyance. I’ve been able to filter out almost all unwanted political ads that were coming in non stop for quite some time. Initially it also caught some needed txts but I was able to use the filtering system to correct. I tried one other app prior that promised to filter for political ads and didn’t work at all, so I was skeptical. But this one definitely works and for a reasonable

Got my phone back under control
This app is so easy to use. I’ve been mercilessly bombarded with political texts that will not stop - it should be a crime. I was at my wits end. This app filters custom phrases in texts into your junk folder. You don’t even see them and the political texts can rot in purgatory where they belong. Thank you so much for this app!!! Highly recommend.

Great app for cutting down on junk
This app has saved me from seeing 100s upon 100s of junk messages from the political machine asking for money.
It does need updating to work correctly on iOS 26 though.

Doesn’t do what it claims to
Even with adding words to the filter I’m constantly getting stupid recruiting text. And the app doesn’t catch them even though they contain words I’ve added to the filter. And when I enter the text into the “test” box, it says it will block it. But it never does. Not worth paying for premium if it doesn’t work.

Got my IPhone back! Why did I wait so long?
After making many contributions to political causes, I got “rewarded”with endless spam. This simple app got rid of them all! It’s very simple to use and has very powerful features. I like that I can use my own key words, like “Congress” or “ActBlue” and block (black list) or allow (white list) any text that has the words or terms I create. It is very customizable and has virtually enabled me to get my message app (which had been hijacked on my iPhone) back and usable again. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

Doesn’t work
This is a great concept, but it doesn’t work. I am still getting texts with keywords that are clearly not being filtered.
Not worth it.
Does pretty much the opposite of it’s intention. It missed most junk messages and moved legit ones to junk. And there is no way to tell it that a message is legit. You have to go to its settings and try to find a keyword that will let it pass the next time. Not worth the trouble.
Blocks everything you don’t want it to
The crowdsourced list of acceptable words includes the derogatory slang for a black person. I turned that off immediately but thought the machine learning was a great idea. It blocked a ton of messages that weren’t spam. Overall just does a poor job at automatically filtering your messages. If you put in your own keywords and use only that then I guess this app is for you. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

iCloud dump
Appears to dump data in iCloud that can’t be deleted via Settings > Account > iCloud > Storage. E even when app is not allowed to save to iCloud and when the app is uninstalled. Reinstalling increases the data stored in iCloud. What this data is is unknown. Reported app to Apple via reportaproblem

Political Spam Protection!
Not that anyone cares but I accidentally signed up for bogus political texts last election cycle.. every day receiving 4-5 stupid texts about Elon, Trump, etc and just no end in sight even blocking all numbers.
VeroSMS has finally given me peace and I can use my phone normally again without being bombarded with dumb texts!

Sanity saver!
With a little tweaking, I’m finally free from the constant harassment of political and spam texts. I don’t recommend the crowdsourced keywords since that results in over filtering, but I like this app because it preserves your privacy and leverages built in iPhone features to do its filtering.

Bought it and set up hundreds of words in two languages and it filters nothing. Waste of money.
Stopped immediately
Just signed up yesterday, 100+ texts each day and this app stopped almost 100%.
