couldn't even input my donor id
I have no problem using the website, but it doesn't seem to sync with the app at all. I had my donor ID number saved on the website, but when I tried to add it to my account on the app, it wouldn't let me, and it felt like I was tapping on nothing.
Plain Jane app that glitches
The app does NOT sync all your blood donations. It will allow you to add an appointment, but once your appointment is complete it never increments the # of donations you made. If you look in your donations history, it may or may not appear there. The list of donations in your history does NOT equal the number of donations they have tallied for you on the front page. Also, it does not allow you to add your Versiti ID to your wallet which would make for an easier QR scan in at your appointment. It does not allow you to log into the app with your face ID even though the app shows the feature is there. Lastly, there is NO way to contact anyone from within the app to resolve/report any of the glitches. It is a very Plain Jane app that has the potential for so much more, but barely works.

I haven’t been able to sign in, reset my password, or create a new account. I contacted customer service weeks ago to no avail. Please help! Thank you.

I don’t understand what is going on with your system. I forget username put my email in. I get my username back but then I do forget password put that email in and you say that I don’t even have an account with that email if I didn’t have an account, how did I get my username in the first place it makes this so difficult

App does not perform—DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP, as It does not work.
App was downloaded months agoso I could sign up for blood donations. I’ve been unable to use the app since I installed it. I’ve only been able to login once and I believe that was just by accident. I’ve had to constantly reset my password. And even after a reset it still says the login fails.
Today, just by coincidence, I was contacted by a Versiti team member to donate blood. I told her I literally just got back from the RED CROSS today from a donation. I explained how I tried to login to Versiti last night and was unable to get my Versiti app to work. The team member said this is a common complaint with people, and she said she would elevate my concerns to the next level. She said they are working very hard to address these concerns. While I was on the phone with the team member, she tried to reset the password at her computer for me and it failed twice on her.

I really wish it worked
I have been donating blood for awhile now, they have given me my donor ID number at the blood drive so I can sign in easily. But that doesn’t work. I tried to look at my donation history, it says no donations on file. I try to request an appointment, it doesn’t work. I’ve tried to sign in to fill out pre-donation forms, unable to do it. It seems like it could be a wonderful app, if it actually worked.

Where’s my Wellness?
App allows you to schedule blood donations fairly easily but makes it as complicated as possible to get past donations and wellness info. I had to have customer support send a screenshot just to show where it was hidden. Back when it was Indiana Blood Center, before it got bought out and corporatized as Versiti, it had much better quality of donor wellness info and easier access. Wish the website or app would use API code or CSV downloads permitted so I can export my data and share it with my rheumatologist.

Unusable
Can’t login, says password is incorrect so I reset password. The email never sends. When I could login no user information was given so there was no point to the app.
Used to be really good
I used to love popping this open to scan my ID, check on my info, schedule and manage appointments, and complete my VersiPass. Its functionality has gotten worse and worse to the point that I can’t even get in it anymore. So much for saving time with VersiPass — and all the other functionality. PLEASE FIX THIS APP!!!

Terrible new version of app
Updated version released two weeks ago with no warning. Users can’t log in now. Error messages despite resets repeatedly.
All history and data lost. Very disappointed donor merely asking why.

Very inconsistent
This app is NOT easy to get to where you need to go..sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. Very frustrating when you are trying to make an appointment to donate.

Absolutely nothing good to say about this app. Why would they make it so dang hard to donate blood???
Cannot connect to server
App has been unable to connect for months. It says I have 0 donations when I have been donating on a regular basis in Wisconsin for over 13 years.

Glitchy App for an Important Service
Login is an issue. User must select a region (state) at every login, even when you are an returning user. Once a region is selected, you must return to home screen to provide login credentials. Server connection (required for login) has been down on a couple occasions.
One feature for consideration would be Face ID compatibility for those interested in a quicker login option.
Once at the home screen, the selection options are fairly straightforward, but features associated with donating, like Versiti VeriPass (health screening questions form) are not included under the donation tab. A link can be found elsewhere but is not located in an intuitive place.
While not an app issue, the code for the small incentives promotions must be entered into the notes section when registering for a donation time to receive it. Including promotion eligibility as the default seems simple enough based on the dates the promotion is available and time of donation.
Some tweaking of the app and a more consistent server would make this a very useful tool for donors. Note, critiques are for the app only and not the great people working the phones or at donation centers!

Server always down. Just doesn’t work.
VPN incompatibility
Fix the app and website so they are compatible with users running VPNs. It’s 2024, this should not be an issue.
Bug fixes
Whoever is in charge of updates : this app logs me out every time I use it. When I try to log back in, it sits there staring at me without an error message or anything saying whats wrong. Very un-user friendly . On the days it works, it works great . I’ve reinstalled and reinstalled this app so many times it’s ridiculous.

Totally dislike the fact I have to re-enter info to log in. The app is definitely not user-friendly at all.
Useless
Im just trying to see if im eligible to donate after international travel using their questionnaire. The app and their website cannot accomplish that simple task. There is a ton of info about “diversity” and trans blood donations and photos of different skin colors though. We all have the same red blood. Ultimately their IT department does not deliver more blood to dying patients. If i call their 1-800 number i’m sure I’ll encounter similar hurdles.
