What's New in Versus Training

1.5

August 30, 2026

Versus 1.5 is a correctness release. Less new to look at, more that you can trust. TWO WORKOUTS ON THE SAME DAY ARE TWO WORKOUTS Duplicate detection could remove a session you logged by hand, on an ordinary sync, without asking. If you ever lifted in the morning and topped up later and found only one session, this was why. Sessions you log yourself are now never treated as duplicates of each other. RESOLVED INJURIES STAY RESOLVED Marking an injury better only saved on your phone. It never reached the server, so restoring from cloud or signing in on a new device brought it back as active, and readiness and Sensei went on training around a body part that had healed. Resolving, updating pain level, and deleting an injury now all sync. YOUR IMPORTED HISTORY IS MORE ACCURATE This changes data you already have, not just future imports. • Per-set RPE from Hevy and Strong now carries across, instead of being read and dropped. • Session effort comes from the sets you actually recorded. Every imported lifting session used to score identical effort, so an easy day and a brutal day added the same load. • Strava exports written in miles now import at the right distance. They were read as kilometres, landing about 38% short. • Strong warmup sets are recognised as warmups rather than counted as working sets. • Your routine names survive, so an imported session can be compared to the last time you did it. • Fitbod notes are no longer dropped. SAVE ANY OUTDOOR SESSION AS GPX Export a route to open in another app or send to your coach. This was described in the 1.4 notes before it existed. It exists now. SIRI AND SPOTLIGHT ACTUALLY OPEN THE LOGGER "Start a workout in Versus" from Spotlight or Siri opened the app on the dashboard and stopped there when the app was not already running. It now opens the logger you asked for. YOU CAN SEE WHEN APPLE HEALTH SYNC BREAKS The background import ran silently and swallowed its own errors, so a revoked permission just meant workouts quietly stopped arriving. Settings now shows when it last ran and tells you if it failed. IMPORT REMEMBERS WHAT YOU PICKED The apps you choose during setup are now named on the import screen, and the prompt no longer waits until after your first logged session to appear. MORE OF YOUR DATA IN YOUR EXPORT Export My Data now includes your structured endurance workouts and your meets. DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT TELLS YOU THE TRUTH It reported success even when the server call failed, after already clearing your device. It now checks first, leaves your data alone if anything goes wrong, and removes linked services from the phone. FIXES • Fixed a crash that could close the app on the endurance logger. • The info button beside a search result opens the exercise instead of adding it. • The tabs above exercise search are tappable across their full width. • The tag chips beside session notes now add the tag. A CORRECTION TO THE 1.4 NOTES Those notes said you could connect Oura and Whoop. You cannot. There is no way to connect either in the app, and describing them was a mistake on our part rather than a feature that broke. Apple Health connects both ways, and Strava, Garmin, Hevy, Strong and Fitbod history comes in by CSV export.
