Coupons aren’t valid.
The coupons aren’t great deals to begin with. Some are for stores that closed over a year ago. Other vendors have signs up that they never authorized these coupons and they aren’t valid. Very disappointed that we sold this as a fundraiser being promised it was a great deal. Seems like a borderline scam.

Love the digital aspect
Initially, I was frustrated with trying to figure out how to look at what was offered when this discount card was being offered to me. Once I bought it, though, I love the fact that I don’t have to worry about having a discount card on me or remembering where I left it when I want to use it. I also love the fact that I can look up places to see if they have a discount instead of scanning the card.

Learning as I go
I am not totally sure about this app yet. But I am trying to figure it out as I go. Seems pretty easy to use though! I have only used one coupon so far and the restaurant we used it at had NO idea what the coupon was, but they honored it anyway.

This app is very hard to use. Hard to scan through. No filters! Nothing is in alpha order or searchable
Scam
Bought this through a fundraiser. It said deals on local restaurants and businesses. All I’m seeing is vacation destinations. Completely misleading.
Doesn’t seem to work
First one I tried using came up with an error and was not able to use…unable to search by business name, even ones I know are in there don’t show when searched, have to scroll! I’m hoping I have better luck as I use it!!!
App could be more user friendly
The app could be easier to navigate and find relevant and actual local deals. I purchased in support of my nephew out of state and don’t really see any deals that I can use where I am. Happy to support my nephew, but would have loved to be able to find atleast one good deal I could use. There’s endless scrolling within the app and it could just be way more organized.

Great customer service
I messed up my email address on claiming an offer and got through to a very helpful customer service person right away. I was very pleased with the variety of discounts as well. You can search by what is around you when you open the app. I saved the donation amount on my first transaction.
Great for US Brands, Lacking Canadian Content
Vertical Discounts offers a solid user interface and smooth navigation. However, the platform heavily favors American companies. There is very little selection for local or Canadian businesses. If you frequently shop at major US retailers, you will find value here. If you want to support local Canadian shops or use discounts within Canada, the options are highly limited. It is a decent app, but it definitely needs better international variety.

Trying to use coupon and it says I e already used it but I haven’t.
