Deceptive billing
OCR and reporting works great. However I ran into a scam / deceptive billing with the limits. I purchased a subscription and there is a limit on the number of documents you can scan and then they want more per scan after that. I screen shot the billing page where no limits are listed, the limits are buried in the fine print and in the faqs.
Given this is useless for my use case, I contacted support and they know it’s a scam “we don’t issue refunds for any reason”
Stay away from this company/ app if you need to do any sort of volume processing.

Great app
Love how it’s easily integrated
Cool app with monthly fee
The app has a free trial, but a monthly or yearly subscription is required after 50 scans. I couldn’t find that information prior to use the app.
Downgraded for terrible support
UPDATE 6-13/2025: (not so good)
I am not sure if this coincides with the name change from IQBoxy to Veryfi, but the support is basically non-existent. I have had data corruption issues since Aug 2023 causing me to loose 20% of my receipts. After months of no resolution I am informed there is a “development freeze” with no guarantee the issue will be resolved and I am offered last month’s payment refunded. A 10-year paying customer and they offer me $5.99 back? First off, a development freeze should have no impact on supporting a paying customer on production code. I have been in hardware and software support for over 30 years. We had freezes all the time but we still support the production environment and our customers. It is a shame as the core app is excellent but without support it’s useless. Also, give us a phone number and a real person to talk to. At minimum a customer service portal where we can submit and track our issues

I am an app addict and I can say with confidence that this is the best receipt app that I have used, and I have tried a lot! I have completely replaced my bulky and inconvenient NeatReceipts setup. No more stuffing my receipts in my wallet, pocket or glove box until I can sit down at the laptop, unwrinkle my receipts and feed them through the scanner one at a time. That is if I can find all the old receipts and they hadn't faded so much I can't scan them. Now I just snap a photo of receipt and throw it away before I even step foot out of the store. Better yet I have setup my receipt email address to iqBoxy at stores that email receipts. This way I don't even need to snap a pic. Then in my leisure (waiting in line at Dutch Brothers for a coffee), I launch IQBoxy verify the receipt and fill in the tags. With my Rules I have set much of this is also done. The app is not perfect but none are. The reason I give it 5 stars even though it is not perfect is that they are very responsive to my requests and implement fixes and features quickly. One feature that would be nice is if the tag search and tag add were combined into one entry. If you keyed in a tag that was not already defined, the app would ask you if you would like to add it. Kudos IQBoxy!
