I set up categories that mirror the tax forms, and suddenly my taxes are about 90% done with almost no effort. The continuous improvements really seal it for me—this is the best app in its category. It’s lightweight yet extremely powerful.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stop drowning in receipts and finally feel in control of their expenses.

Thanks for writing this out properly, and sorry for the delay — your feedback is more useful than a rating on its own. The part that concerns me most is the last one: scans changing after the fact. If the app is altering values you've already reviewed or corrected, that's a defect we need to find and kill, not an accuracy problem to tune. Dates and tax values on German receipts are something we can measure and improve; silently overwriting your work is different. If you would like to email me at joel@sparkreceipt.com with a couple of examples — ideally a receipt where the value changed, and roughly when? That gives us something reproducible to work from. We ship releases every couple of days and most reported issues are live in production within a week.
