SparkReceipt keeps getting better, and it’s genuinely amazing. Before this app, managing receipts and paperwork was a constant struggle—tax time especially felt brutal. Now, capturing receipts is effortless: just snap a photo with my phone on the go, and the AI takes care of the rest. It simplifies the entire bookkeeping process so well.

I set up categories that mirror the tax forms, and suddenly my taxes are about 90% done with almost no effort. The continuous improvements really seal it for me—this is the best app in its category. It’s lightweight yet extremely powerful.

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stop drowning in receipts and finally feel in control of their expenses.

Too many errors recently

It started well, I thought it might be a great tool to stay focused on expenses etc - lately though every second scan gets errors, wrong dates, missing tax values - even the dates get misinterpreted- worst thing though - it keeps changing scans after. Not sure if it needs an update, but right now now, it’s way easier to use a classic AI service than Spark.

Thanks for writing this out properly, and sorry for the delay — your feedback is more useful than a rating on its own. The part that concerns me most is the last one: scans changing after the fact. If the app is altering values you've already reviewed or corrected, that's a defect we need to find and kill, not an accuracy problem to tune. Dates and tax values on German receipts are something we can measure and improve; silently overwriting your work is different. If you would like to email me at joel@sparkreceipt.com with a couple of examples — ideally a receipt where the value changed, and roughly when? That gives us something reproducible to work from. We ship releases every couple of days and most reported issues are live in production within a week. This review is from June and a lot has shipped since, but I'd rather fix your specific case than ask you to take that on faith. Joel, co-founder

Bonjour, Bonjour, c'est déjà possible aujourd'hui. Regardez attentivement : lorsque vous créez le rapport depuis l'application de bureau, il y a une case à cocher qui permet de convertir les images en PDF. (That is possible today. Look carefully; there is a box that you can tap to convert images to PDF from the desktop browser application when you are creating the report. ) -Joel

Chit bucket of an app

I just downloaded this and went with the elite program. Had to restart because it was not counting income with email scans and I had to change dates. I went to delete everything so I could start over again and it completely blocked my email account. I can’t get back in here unless I pay this worthless company another subscription. What a waste of my time.

Date mismatch

Unfortunately the software doesn’t read the receipt dates so it can’t match them with your statements.

The main reason I tried the software was for this.

Without it matching the dates you are forced to do it manually for thousands or even hundreds of receipts.

I am early backer with lifetime subscription

App is great , packed with premium options and useful features, I recommend it for new users.
having of the way , it has a been a while now since I noticed as very early app backer that this app is adding features and never give the premium members with lifetime subscription the same privilege over this features.. it starts with certain uses, then for the next updates it became certain number of use ultimately it became as every new subscriber with subscription use… so much for someone who promised -while asking early members to help promote for the app & backup the app- not to do so with early members!

Great when it works

Buggy and often save receipt content as gibberish. I’ve also had pending support requests with no response for over 7 days. I like the broad document store concept but it’s just not very polished.

Fast

Super fast, super easy. This is way better than Shoeboxed and more affordable. The app is also accessible; it is fully integrated with voice control. The only reason why I marked it down a star is because it can’t read cursive on check receipts and when you put two receipts next to each other it will capture the data of the receipt that isn’t even highlighted (or even in the camera area!).

Time Saving Hidden Gem x 10!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe how amazing this app is. It makes it so easy to automatically get all your receipts in. It can pull in your email receipts automatically, paper receipts, keep everything organized. There's webhooks and automation features. The scanner is amazing. It's just super fast, easy to use. It's available on mobile, desktop, whatever. Man, if you stress out at all about staying on top of your budgeting, finances, receipts, any of that stuff, this is a powerhouse right here. Especially if you like automating things and saving time.

So glad I found this!

This app is just what I was looking for. Simple and fast and it just works! I tried many other apps and websites and they were complicated and slow and glitchy and couldn’t read many of my receipts. Somehow this one is simple and fast and can read the receipts others couldn’t. It just works! I have used it for a year now and it is a great help and time saver. Thank you developers at SparkReceipt!

Excellent App!

This app has make tax time manageable and not as stressful. I capture receipts throughout the year and at tax time it generates a nice report. I’ve recommended this app to several people. I wish I found it sooner.

Top Scanner und Weiterveratbeitung

Schnell, präzise. Grandios der Export in Excel sowie der Zipordner mit allen Quittungen mit Beginn der Dateibezeichnung über yyyy-mm-dd. Lässt die Konkurrenz hinter sich, insbesondere das in Deutschland für die Steuererklärung allseits bekannte Programm der Firma Buhl. So nutze ich beide Programme. Oberfläche sowohl bei Desktopvariante als auch App könnte noch intuitiver sein und mehr Auswahl anbieten. Sehr happy
