The VESTA app allows you to easily capture a precise 3D scan of your feet using your smartphone. This scan is an essential step in the VESTA custom insole process and integrates seamlessly with the VESTA online platform. By following the guided instructions in the app, users can quickly generate an accurate digital model of their feet, which is then securely transmitted to our team for biomechanical analysis and personalised insole design. The app is designed to make the scanning process simple, fast, and reliable, allowing you to complete the first step of your custom orthotic journey from the comfort of your home.The app allows you to preview the foot scans before you submit your scans. The app asks for permission to use your camera (front-facing). When you allow the app to use the camera, the permission to use the depth-sensing camera is also provided. The app does not store, collect, or transfer any picture or video data out of your phone. Instead, the app generates and uploads a 3D model of your feet (in form of point clouds) to our servers when you initiate such an upload explicitly.
