It works

Worth it to pay for the premium version (no ads and data export). I wish I could change the display scale, I have to export it in order to zoom in, like +/- 0.05. If I could zoom in or change the scale I could use it in real time as I am measuring subtle vibrations, from machinery in a building. Also wish I could add more info to the history or the file name, instead of relying on noting down or remembering the order of measurements.

No instructions provided. Unable to axis period data so unable to access anything recorded outside of the few seconds shown on screen

Detectable only by instruments

Okay, admittedly, I have no idea what I’m doing, but I was hoping to find an app that can actually quantify the hard vibration I am feeling. The floor and walls and everything is humming, but not a comfortable numb. It’s jarring. But no, apparently this is not the instrument of which they speak.

No recording

I thought this was recording to be able to save it - lost some very important evidence because there’s no save feature (it counts the time of recording, but no save?)

BEWARE: UNEXPECTED CHARGES

This app does not mention any fees or “in-app purchases” in its description. However, upon downloading, I was immediately presented with a “standard” trial period offer: a trial period followed by an annual fee of $39.99 (surprise!). As expected, a credit card was required to be kept on file, in order to activate the trial with the option to cancel before the trial period ended. Despite misgivings, I opted to proceed.

After entering my information and credit card details, I instantly received a notification from my bank that my card had been charged $39.99. Minutes later, another alert from my bank’s fraud department flagged the charge as suspicious, asking if I recognized it as legitimate.

Alarmed, I responded “no.” Long story short, I had to lock my card and was issued a replacement. Within an hour of locking my card, another attempt to charge for $1.95 was made. In the three weeks since, this company has attempted to charge my (now locked) card $4.95 every week (as recently as today).

I’ve noticed this app has many positive reviews, so I’m not sure what to think. I’d like to believe that there is no intention to mislead. However, I strongly urge anyone considering downloading and activating this app to think twice.

We never ask for your card details or other sensitive data. We advise you never to provide such information on the Internet. Our purchases are made exclusively through the AppStore.
