We’re sorry for the frustration and appreciate your feedback. The app does support preserving metadata — in the Compression Settings screen, tap Additional and enable “Keep Metadata” before starting compression. Regarding importing from your iOS albums and the lack of instructions, thank you for pointing that out. We understand clearer guidance would make the experience much better, and we’re working on improving both usability and in-app explanations.
