Nickle and dimeing

I tried to save and edit an audio file and a pop up said I had no minutes balance. That means the app wants you to buy minutes on top of premium subscription in order to edit audio. Money grab. Every app wants as much money as possible now for basic features.

Does not convert files

Attempted converting a video from HEVC to mp4. It converted from HEVC to HEVC. That’s pretty useless. You would think that converting from one file format to the same format would generate a question like, Hey dude, you’re not really accomplishing anything, or disallow the action, but nope. This is a scam app that just makes you watch ads and give nothing in return. Nice interface, zero functionality.

I give up

I rate this product constantly. Whether in the app it itself, or directly on the App Store. It never saves the rating and constantly asks me to keep rating it.

Did not create usable output

The mp4 files that were “converted” resulted in the same error message that the original .avi files received. I gave it two stars because the ad supported version saved me from spending any money.

Since I just downloaded it, I can’t write a full review yet, but I almost did not purchase it due to all the ads when I was looking for an app. It appears to like it’s going to do what I need to do, but all the ads are definitely a deterrent for trying it out. I’ll come back after some time and I’ve had a chance to use it and update this review and possibly change it to five stars i’m curious to see if they even post this review to since it’s not 5 star.

Sick of being asked to rate it

This product is good. I have even paid for the lifetime premium service. However, I am sick to death of being asked to rate the product, despite giving it 5 stars multiple times. Why is a video converting app so needy?

Es buena app, pero…

Solo si compras la suscripción. Realmente por algo que vas a usar ocasionalmente no vale la pena. La publicidad es una tortura. No es que no no se quiera compensar justamente el no pagar por ella, es que es demencial e insoportable. Tal vez hacer un pago único por las funciones más básicas y comunes sería la opción. Pensar en eso para darle una oportunidad.

Does not save Metadata

Does NOT save the original Metadata and you can NOT upload from your iOS albums… even more frustrating than the above is the lack of instructions or really any explanation. I even visited the developer website and could not find any how-to.

После какого то обновления начала выходить ошибка "Приложение «Video Audio Converter & Editor» неожиданно завершило работу". Приложение обновлено до последней версии 13.11. Ошибка такая же. Макбук Apple M1, macOS Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68).
