FAQ
How does VideoVault ensure my child's safety?
VideoVault operates on an approval-only system. Parents must explicitly approve every video, playlist, or channel before it becomes accessible to the child. This prevents exposure to unwanted content and YouTube's algorithmic recommendations.
Can my child watch videos offline with VideoVault?
While the app itself requires an internet connection to import and manage videos, you can export your entire curated library as a JSON file. This file can then be imported onto another device, effectively allowing for offline access to your curated content on that specific device.
Does VideoVault have ads?
No, VideoVault does not display advertisements. The app is committed to providing an uninterrupted viewing experience for children and explicitly states it will not sell ads.
How does VideoVault handle YouTube's recommendations?
VideoVault completely hides YouTube's 'up next' recommendations during playback. Children will only watch the videos you have selected, in the order you have chosen, and will return to the curated home screen once playback is complete.
What kind of content is VideoVault best suited for?
The app is ideal for curating timeless content such as educational videos, music, classic shows, how-to guides, and nature footage. It focuses on content that remains valuable over time, avoiding the pressure of 'fresh content' or new upload notifications.
Is VideoVault available on Android devices?
Based on the provided data, VideoVault is supported on iPhones and iPads. There is no mention of Android compatibility in the application details.
How often is VideoVault updated?
The application was last updated on October 3, 2026, indicating a recent update. The latest version available is 1.3.1.
Does VideoVault require an account or subscription?
