Viki as a service
I enjoy Viki as they offer a good range of options for dramas, fantasies comedies etc from several different countries and plenty of choices with English subtitles (which I need). In recent times there have been some offerings with dubbing in English and while there was some very critical feedback I found it tolerable and it could be turned off if the viewer didn’t want it.
The only improvements I would like to see would be things like a ‘leaving soon ‘ list so I would know when my favourites were about to be gone - other services offer this.
And more fantasies if possible!! I love them.
All in all I think what is offered is great and a good range.

Too many adverts, I couldn’t even watch five minutes of the show without the being an advert that swiped up the app about 15 times and it kept showing me the same advert and then there was a time where I watched about 11 adverts in a row it’s ridiculous

Worst video streaming app
Laggy as hell search sucks, streaming slow, hand off non existent. You guys need to fire the whole team who built this garbage
Subtitles and connectivity
I love watching at Viki, for a while i was able to stream watch with nonissues at all. But lately , if i want to warvhnon a bigger screen like at my smart tv , the subtitles dont come out , and now i cant totalky airplay it , so now im only watchingbon mynphone and ipad😩

Rating and the ability to filter
There are many category that I do not want to choose like lgbtq but there is no way to omit categories also some shows from Thailand, Philippines etc.
If you love K drama
This is the most brilliant source of K dramas both new and old. I really appreciate that the subtitle teams translate the songs too.

Reason for 3 Stars
1) I don’t like when I have started watching a drama, stop and try to go back to it, the app doesn’t save my place. It will often go back to the first episode. It’s very Annoying.
2) It’s getting harder to find clean shows unless it’s a period piece. Too much cursing and too much LGBT…………………..

Does not work
The worst app ever. Literally has not opened worked correctly even once. Every time I open the app it glitches and becomes a black screen and I have to restart. The commercials will randomly start playing during a show, the playback control buttons just appear and then disappear, and it overall just takes forever for me to actually start watching something, which just makes me give up. Please fix all of the bugs.

Amazing app, but…
I love this App, it’s my go to for Asian drama, but please please, allow users to filter their preferences. I have nothing against LGBT community, I just don’t want to watch it. I’d prefer to be able to have the option to view only heterosexual dramas.
Does an Admirable Job…Always something to watch!
Given the diverse library of programs, It would be nice to be able to organize my watchlist and other searches… But still the best value for my Entertainment Budget! The Comments from other Viki users are the icing on the cake - both Wonderful and Awful at once… Would be nice to filter (or translate) comments for ‘my language’ only (Google Translate with Photo Capture to the rescue). To the people who always ask… NO THEY ARE NOT “LIVE”!!!

Terrible Background Music Ruins the Shows
Worst app.
The replacement background music on some shows is absolutely unbearable. It’s distracting, completely mismatched with the scenes, and ruins the entire viewing experience.
I understand there may be copyright or licensing issues, but if you can’t use the original music, just remove the background music altogether. Adding random, terrible music that doesn’t fit the scene is even worse.
If you can’t properly license the content without ruining the viewing experience, then don’t offer it at all.
