Can’t log in
Trying to do firmware update on lenses. This app doesn’t send code to verify phone number or email addresses. Can’t u just let us download the firmware and we move it over to the lens like other manufacturers?
Try using cellular data instead of WiFi if you can’t log in or register
Also be advised, this app does NOT work on lenses with a USB-C connection. It is only for higher end lenses with Bluetooth!
Hopefully Viltrox will eventually update to a more compatible data server & offer descriptions in more languages besides Chinese. That could save some of us a lot of time and aggravation.

Viltrox App should be removed from App Store

Will not connect
Register process flawed. There’s no emailed code - just enter in any 4 digit number. But once you do this you will find it impossible to connect with your lens anyway. So don’t bother

Bad company, broken app, broken lens.
For some reason they want you to make an account to update the firmware of the lens. The lens locks up the camera without the update. When you try to make an account they say they send you a code and you have to enter it to proceed. They never send you the code. Have tried multiple time. Bad company. Broken app. Broken lens.

The great screen rewrites the user to login or register. Tapping either option causes the app to hang.

Is it possible to give us a zero stars? It won’t even let me register to sign up, tells me to send a verification and it won’t send a verification. Makes it way too hard to try and just update a simple lens.

Trying to create an account is impossible, you cannot get any further than your email/phone number. You need it verified. Not working.

The Worst App Ever
I’m unable to create an account to use the app. Tried logging in with Apple account as someone suggested but also failed. It should not be this difficult to use an app these days. Utterly frustrating experience. Conclusion: Stay away from Viltrox.

You are required to make an account to use the app at all. The app is so broken that you cannot make an account (nor does making an account on their website have anything to do with the app). Broken.
