Do you have hours for wifi connection?
Because that is what you’ll need. Or it’ll stop communicating completely and there’s no way to fix it or anyone to help troubleshoot. Don’t buy.
Unreliable
I’ve had this thermostat connected to my 5 ton central HVAC unit for a couple months now. There’s a few negatives I’d like to mention. The thermostat is difficult to connect via the app. You must attempt the connection several times before it actually connects. The thermostat won’t update its software automatically whereas you must manually update it. I’m pretty sure this thermostat caused my hvac’s filter board’s failure due it not being updated therefore causing my hvac to not operate correctly. The thermostat has glitches. The temp settings change without touching them. I would not recommend this product.

App Review
This app needs a lot of fixing. I was really excited when purchasing the thermostat because I would be able to control it from the app but the app crashes all the time and I’m not able to control it from my phone. It hasn’t had an update in over a year. Definitely needs to be fixed.

The app before the updates was not now isn’t responding at all and i can’t control the thermostat any more from my phone i hope you fix that because now the device is worthless.

Update: the app has been fixed. Been using it for a little while and seems ok. If the patch holds, it will be a decent app.
I try to change the temp and it keeps returning to the setting I’m trying to change. It never shows the actual ambient temperature. Usually, I have to give up and walk over to the thermostat to reset it. The app developers are idiots.
