What's New in Vinyl Portfolio

1.4.3

September 6, 2026

Vinyl Portfolio 1.4 is a big update: a fresh new look, a portfolio value chart, friend invites, and the most accurate pricing we've ever shipped. - See your collection's value over time. The home screen charts your portfolio's real market history, so you can watch it climb (or dip). - Invite friends and bank extra scans. Share your link and you both get bonus scans on top of your daily limit once a friend joins and scans their first record. - Real sold prices on every record: a chart of completed sales for your exact pressing, the individual sales beneath it, and how fast it sells. - Much more accurate values. Prices reflect your record's exact condition, we ignore bad data, and we tell different albums and pressings apart. - A cleaner, more polished look across the whole app. 1.4.3: a better scanner, and an honest one - Turn on the flashlight while scanning, so a dim room or a dark crate is no problem. - The scanner taps back: you feel it when a barcode locks on, when a photo captures, and when a scan can't find a match. - Records found by catalog number show you the cover and ask "Is this your record?" before they're added. If several pressings share the number, you pick the right one. - Barcode scanning reads again. It had stopped picking up barcodes, and the white barcode stickers on many sleeves had never been readable at all. Both are fixed, and if a code still won't read after a few seconds the scanner says so and offers to identify by photo instead. - Catalog photos now freeze on the frame you shot while we read it, with a Retake button, so you always know what was captured. - The Verified badge now means a barcode or runout etching identified the pressing. Catalog-number matches are labeled as such, and a few older records marked verified that way have been relabeled. - Scanning without an account works properly now. Guests could scan barcodes but photo and catalog number scans failed every time. All three work with your free scans. - Also fixed: the barcode shutter that did nothing, wrong covers and wrong pressings on standard copies, and sample records inflating your totals. Thanks for collecting with us. Keep spinning.

User reviews

Really helped me out!

I had a backlog of old records that I’ve been collecting over the years and I’ve been trying to organize and sell some and this app helped me quickly go through and scan my records and I found some hidden gems that i forgot about. A must have for anyone trying to quickly price records!

Best Vinyl Collection Tracker App Out There

I love this app. It’s super visually appealing which is important to me because music is art. So the app should look good- and it does. It displays everything so nicely and the UI looks phenomenal. Easily the best and easiest to use vinyl app out there.
