I love how eco friendly this app is, and I like how it’s free. but I feel like we should also be able to edit our previous chats no matter what. Bc I will literally send something and then it doesn’t make sense and I can’t edit it. Another thing is I wish it could have a notes section so you can keep your notes in the app so you’ll be basing your schoolwork off the notes.
I understand the app is still new, but these are just recommendations that I’d love to see in the future

This app is perfect, you can chat with AI guilt free, while also enjoying different models. However, I would love it if you guys could add other AI models like Grok too. Other than that, it’s really useful.

It doesn’t even know what the date is. I asked it and it said it was August 23, 2024. Obviously it’s not. I corrected it and made a new chat and it still isn’t working. This thing DOESNT work and it is very slow.

I prefer no AI, but when it's needed, I always use Viro because the earth comes first. I know that Viro shares my earth-conscious values, so I'm proud to use it. It works just as well as other AI apps, but with a clear mission: to help the planet and keep AI from bringing harm to it. That's an app I can get behind.

Same ai but better for the planet
I’ve been using ChatGPT for a long time but I recently found out how damaging it is to the environment so I started using this. I’m still using ChatGPT and Claude, but I’m doing it with a cleaner conscience and helping to clean the ocean. My personal impact might not be huge but it’s something, and I’m glad I get to make that small difference.

Awesome app
Sometimes it cuts off while having already wrote a couple sentences and it starts writing a new one, that’s the only issue I’ve had so far. Otherwise I thank you all for making this app, I quit chatgpt and got this app and I’m very glad I did! I really hope we’ll all make a big enough difference..

I deeply appreciate the mission behind Viro — the eco-friendly model, climate focus, built-in stats, personas, web search, workspaces, photo gallery, private “cloud,” and even the eco store. The fact that it’s free while offering so many thoughtful features is honestly impressive. The vision is there.
However, the usability right now makes it extremely difficult to rely on.
Some consistent issues I’ve experienced (on both web and mobile):
• The send button frequently doesn’t work.
• “No connection” errors appear randomly, even with strong internet — and the only fix is starting an entirely new chat.
• You can only upload one photo at a time.
• If you send one photo and later need to send more in the same message, you can’t.
• Buttons are clickable but sometimes do nothing.
• The + icon in the text bar is often hidden or doesn’t respond.
• You can’t type while it’s generating.
• You can’t rename chats half the time or move them into projects.
• You can’t edit messages.
I understand this is a newer app, and I’m more than willing to accept minor glitches — but right now it feels like every single chat runs into an issue. That makes it hard to use consistently.
I’m leaving this review because I truly believe in what Viro is trying to build. The ideas and features are strong. If the stability and core functionality improve, this could be one of the best AI platforms available.
I hope the team keeps refining the experience — because I really do want to use and support this long-term.

Love the concept, but it doesn’t work that well
I’ve tried a few queries and if you just want a summarized google response it can do that, but image generation has yet to work, and some queries just result in an error message

Was super disappointed when I realized my use of AI was hurting the planet. Really glad I’m able to use eco friendly AI now

It is a genuinely impressive AI app. Since it's powered by clean energy, I don’t feel guilty using it like I do other similar AI apps. Love it !
This app is super great, I love how you can switch between models at actually anytime. One of two flaws I’m seeing is that sometimes numbers don’t show up the same on mobile and laptops. Another is that there’s no way to make a memory, personality, or organization for this AI, which was one of my favorite parts of chatgpt.

You can also Pin chats to the top of the sidebar for quick access. Personality - You can now teach the AI who you are in Settings>Personalization. Also, you can now create Personas to give the AI a personality. You can interact with multiple Personas in one conversation. Memory - We have improved AI memory across conversations. Good app has some bugs that need fixed
It's a great app. It makes an effort to save the planet and its pro version only costs $9.99/YEAR which is far less than the pro versions of the apps that run the LLMs that this app uses like Gemini and ChatGPT. It is also genius how you can switch between Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, and Viro's AI model mid conversation in case one model starts bugging out or giving inaccurate answers or if you have a preference for which LLM app you used to use before you decided you just wanted to become more environmentally conscious. It allows you to rename conversations as well. The reason I'm writing this review though is because there's a few bugs that need fixing and one is that sometimes the LLM cuts off mid response and I have to send it another message to ask it to complete its thought even after purchasing the pro plan. The other is sometimes it won't generate an initial response at all no matter what LLM I use it will throw an error message and I have to try again with a new chat or by hitting the refresh button or by trying another LLM, in which with those native LLM apps I never had an issue with this unless of course I was out of free chat storage and they wanted me to pay up or wait a certain amount of time. It would also attract more people if the app could incorporate Microsoft's Copilot AI as well, but I wouldn't reccomend incorporating Grok lol.

Firstly, I love the app, I love the idea and I love the pledge you guys are making towards a better future and a better earth! Knowing that my impact matters and seeing the progress and benefits of that is something unique and exciting to see in the Ai race. This is an overall great project and app that I’m sure will start a little slow, but gain much traction as more people realize the negative impact that normal Ai is presenting towards our environment!
I wrote a lengthy email to your support team already, however I’ll sum it up because there’s always room for improvement. I’m on an iPhone 15 Plus and while the Ui is really good, but I know that you can “polish the edges” to be even smoother!
Some things to consider could be organizing conversations by adding custom folders like GPT which is a good feature instead of just scrolling through hundreds of different conversations.
One issue i’m facing is that at certain times the Ai tends to cut its responses short and I’ll have to prompt it to pick up
where it left off. To add, sometimes the Ai doesn’t generate a response due to a network connection, even though I’m connected to cellular and home wifi.
Lastly, my account subscription status is having trouble verifying within settings. I’ll receive a message that says “Cannot verify subscription status” occasionally, but a refresh takes care of that issue.
Overall, really solid app Viro! I’ve recommended it to my friends and family and I can’t wait to see the positive changes both environmentally and technologically for what’s in store for this app! Let’s keep the ball rolling and make a difference!
