The game is going really good so far and I have a way of keeping my villagers alive. First, go to options. Then you select pause. Finally you can put it on slow and play each day because your chief can create food every 24 hours. Do not get this version!!
Do not get this version. It limits you to 9 villagers making it impossible to play. Would be fine if it allowed you to upgrade within the app but it does not. VV3 is there best game. Worth playing the full version....NOT this one!
Ok game except for potions
The game itself is ok, better than the first two since there's more to do. However, the potions blowing up is SOO ANNOYING!!! I'll have a potion blow up on me, then try to make a healing potion, and those will keep blowing up on me! The game would be so much better and more enjoyable if they made them stop constantly blowing up.

Crashing issues
Loved the game when it was working, but now it crashes every time I drop a villager an an herb to make a potion. Very frustrating, especially because I paid for this game. Will be 5 stars when fixed.
Keeps restarting aargh!
For no apparent reason it sometimes restarts and loses all progress. Because you can't save a game this effectively makes it unplayable. Such a pity because I loved Virtual Villagers 1 and 2.

Even on easy your village dies easy. Don't download it if you don't want to get frustrated. Also, it exits without you doing anything!!!!

Found a bug
When i get to the puzzle of fixing the statue, my tribe will get the statue to the top of the path then stop. I cannot get the chief or any of them to see it when hovering over it. I cannot complete the puzzle.... I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice hopeing that would fix it.
Fix needed
Mine is the same. The game crashes every time I drop chief or kids on a herb. Please fix. I expect it to work properly when I pay.
Statue
To fix the statue u must put the person at the top of the hill. Then take ur tribal leader and put him on the statue head (bottom of the hill) and put all ur villagers where u put ur leader.
Flash blindness
I find this version very comparable to the PC game. The big problem I have with this one is when it is raining the lightening effect just flashes continuously and causes me really bad headaches. It feels like a strobe light. Please fix! It makes playing the game very difficult.
CONSTANT CRASHES!!!
So angry! I never had this problem on the iPhone version and I'm EXTREMELY IRRITATED that I have paid for this game twice now and it crashes all the time. Items I've collected disappear, my food disappears, this is NOT ACCEPTABLE. This is a paid game. FIX THE CRASHES!
Statue Stuck!
This game is really fun like all of the V.V games but in this one I cannot complete the statue. I get to the top of the hill and it just sits there. No one will continue working on it...and I have 6 builders. Tried them all and nothing. Please fix this issue. Would be a 5 star game easily.
Crashes, no update since 2011.
Having the same issue people were having in 2011. Random crashes, erasing all progress and food. It will run while iPad is shut off, but trying to have the villagers do anything, gather herbs, harvest food...and it crashes and removes all progress . This is not the free version. I do have an iPad 2.
