One of my Favorites!
I’ve loved this game since I played it the first time. I remember getting introduced to the Virtual Villagers games by my mom when I was little and I was so excited to find them on the app store. I’m in my 20s now and still love them so much!
Terrible
Tried about four times to keep a game going but it’s impossible to keep everyone alive with no food . the honey runs out after a few collections and there’s no mushrooms for kids to collect. People keep refusing to do a task and wander off worried about food and you can’t make enough points to buy construction level 1 to build the lift and it’s impossible to get three adept builders when you need them to get points in science and two are kids and one has a baby! You’re doomed from the start. Id like to know if anyone gets past the first 48 hours alive.

Entire save reset
Absolutely devastated, been playing daily for weeks almost completed the game only to be met with when I went to check how my villagers were doing entire save was gone and it’s wiped everything. Don’t waste your time on a game the developers don’t care to update you’ll work so hard getting all your tech points and completing all the puzzles ect just for one day everything to be gone and to be put back to the start of the game. Wasted a few weeks of my time wasn’t worth the purchase just bump the real game on pc, much better experience.

This is by far my favorite of the virtual villagers games. Although it’s not optimized for iPhone X and up phones. Disappointing but still a great game.

Game got stuck
I want my money back! Overall the game is enjoyable and I like it just fine... but during the statue repair, it got stuck at the top of the hill and I can’t get my chief or any of my master builders to continue. I looked it up and apparently lots of people have had this issue... yet it wasn’t fixed. Not cool! I had almost finished all the puzzles. I don’t want to start over just to get this far and it get stuck again.

Great story line, but keeps randomly restarting my village.
I’ve always loved these games, I grew up playing them, so when I found them on the App Store I was more than thrilled! The development of the series has been very enjoyable. After completing the first two I was excited to start the 3rd. However after I had finally gotten my village stable, techs unlocked, population growing, etc. I closed the app and when I came back my village was gone and it had started over?? I’m now back at 8 villagers with no tech nor collectibles. This has happened a few times now and it’s making it hard wanting to continue playing.

The food doesn’t replenish at all.i found it very hard to find mushrooms so my villagers wouldn’t starve.

I love this game! I love this series! I've played them multiple times on my iPod touch. I went to redownload the games again, and this one was the only one that wouldn't. I kept getting a message that the game wasn't compatible. Ummmm..... My iPod touch hasn't changed. I've downloaded it before. And now it won't let me...? 😤😞

Not Updating
I have not been able to update this app on iPod 5th gen, it remains in the update status
I love this game! But,
Apple is forcing thousands of game developers to update their apps into a 64-Bit format, in order to comply with IOS 11. This being said, these virtual villager/families games were a big part of my childhood on the PC and I love playing them today on IOS. I'd hate to see their performance impacted in any way because of an update. I know you guys are probably hard at work on Virtual Families 3, and honestly I probably have no idea how hard it is to update existing apps to run with Apple's system and all, and it's probably already been brought to your attention, but, just letting you know that these games are adored by so many people, and me included.

Absolutely Love It!
I've been playing the virtual villager games since I was a child, and I love all of them. They have this wonderful ambiance and feel to them that makes them so peaceful and enjoyable. I hope they continue to make them, I know I will keep playing them.
Glitch
Every time I set a villager on something it says "this rock is too hot to pick up." I can't have them do anything because of this glitch. Needs to be fixed.

longtime fan of virtual villagers games but all of a sudden all the gems disappeared and randomly wherever I put my villagers they run away saying the gem is too hot :( please fix this
It's ok
I love the other VV and virtual families games but this one isn't grabbing me. The puzzles are so hard to figure out, nothing intuitive about them. My games now also got a bug where any time I move a villager anywhere it says 'ouch...' and the villager runs off :-(
Fix problem
This game was enjoyable, watching the generation of villagers thru the life cycle. The puzzles were difficult but easy to find hints online, if needed. The big problem I had was the last fifteen babies born in my village were males. Because of this my villagers could not reproduce and they all died off. I contacted support for the game. All they could tell me is that there were events that happen daily and one might produce additional children. Nope, that didn't happen.
