Pacing I can see

For over a decade, I have been struggling with balance. When I’m having a “good day” I want to do as much as possible to make up for the other days…knowing full well that I’ll end up sleeping for the next three days and still be exhausted for two more days after that. This helps me become aware and to limit how much I demand of my body. It alerts me to slow down and rest for a moment. I’ve only had this for about two weeks, but I haven’t had a three day crash out since I put it on. I still have slow days, but fewer and not fully laid out like a zombie on the couch. Life-changing for me!

It helps

I didn’t have high expectations for this as I didn’t think my heartbeat would say much about my pain, but if I stay within my budget it is decreased significantly and I have actually accomplished more

Recent update

Since recent update I no longer have my colour code monthly maps. Previously it was much easier to view monthly trend on the monthly view. Now the month does not show the coloured circles ☹️☹️

Good but could add some things

It’s really good I just wish it would show me what my highest and lowest heart rate was for the day. And that it notified me when my heart rate got too low rather than just when it got too high.

Love Visible! Being patient with working out the kinks.

I’m not a fan of trackers or watches as they usually stress me out. However, I love how visible has helped me to be able to alert me when I’m going over my exertions budget. I’ve been able to show my family what my body is going through and how it aligns with my symptoms so I won’t gas light myself. I know it is new and it will take a while to work out some kinks and add new features. I hadn’t had a true POTS episode since I started wearing the visible band but I realized after I had an episode at work that my band was at 4% even though I had it on the charger the night before so it missed my episode to capture my heart rate and pace points. I was really bummed because I never got a notification to let me know the batter level was low or I somehow missed it. I get notifications throughout the day that my band has been disconnected during times I really need it to track. I can’t get the band any tighter to make contact and my battery is at l almost full charge. Im also hoping we can get an actual screen/watch feature so it can be multi use and see our HR on the watch as well. I’m excited to see what the new overnight feature does! I have a lot of issues at night as well. I had to buy a Visible compatible silicon band due to the scratchiness of the original band.
Thank you Visible members for making something that works for chronic illness and specifically POTS!

Saved me from a crash!

I haven’t even had this app a full week and it already detected a bad day was coming, the day it was here it told me to be careful which I did making the day after so much easier all round! Only downside is the price of the wrist band tracker but I’m sure it’ll be so worth it when I can afford to get it! App is so easy to use and very quick too.

Works great until band disconnects and won’t reconnect

Band hasn’t synced in 12 days, just keep being asked if I reset it or if I need someone to walk me through how to reset it. I’m sorry but it shouldn’t be this difficult to keep a monitor attached to the app. I now can’t even use the band or service I have spent my disability money on.

Upon speaking with ed- he only offered a refund when I have stated this saved my life earlier this month. They only offered someone to talk to you like you can’t read instructions, or a refund. So I am without now the monitor that was working the best for me.

Very disheartening

Great for pacing

I have had less crashing out since getting the band. I do wish there was more information/ podcasts on chronic pain. I have CRPS and there is a large community of us that could be helped if there was more available with the band. Maybe also having pain scale in the morning and evening check-ins so that could be tracked without having to use several apps.

Very useful app

I started using the free version not that long after getting long Covid a few years back. The free version is really useful in giving you morning stability score so you can at least get an idea of how out of balance you are and gauge how you need to pace. I started using the paid subscription with the polar 1 band but I did struggle to keep it charged. It was incredibly useful in that it shows you where you are exerting yourself or if your pulse is up. I’ve just upgraded to band 2.0 and find it easier for me to keep it charged and just trying the beta feature of using your overnight data for your stability score. This app has really helped me to pace better.

Great app

This is a great app if you have invisible disabilities!

Life Saving - Literally

Learning about this app and the program behind it changed the way the world looked for me in an instant.

Having transparency in my pocket suddenly made LIFE accessible in a way I thought was lost. I forgot what everyday participation in society felt like, or what the world looked like outside my sickroom. But now, it’s just outside my front door again.

Actually using the app legit saved my life, and reminded me that it was not only possible to learn how life could still be lived, but it gave me the chance to remember why it was worth living.

As long as it’s still free and easy to access HR HRV & PacePoint detail at the 15 min incremental view, for the full user history, then I’ll still be an avid ambassador. As of now, my advocacy is even unpaid, because it’s THAT much of a good thing!

If your heart feels funky sometimes, or if your vision ever gets dark on standing, you might want to consider getting this for yourself. Obviously if you’re like me and have ever been reduced to living life horizontally, you’re hopefully just waiting for yours to arrive.

It genuinely gave me life back, and made safe, incrementally progressive recovery* an option.

(Recovery ≠ remission, but sometimes it can happen together. This is not a cure for your long term condition(s), but it’s a tool for working WITH natural capacity limits instead of against them for the purposes of regaining mobility. Your mileage may vary.)

Fatigue moderator

This is a great tool if you have a new diagnosis and need help to manage your fatigue levels . It’s really helpful in educating me on my illness symptoms

Really helps with pacing.

I find this app and band great for helping me present crashes before they happen. I wish they came in different colours though 😊 xx

Best symptom tracking app I’ve had

10/10 app. Helps me as I struggle to get a diagnosis for my complex chronic illness and pacing. The people on the app and the podcast truly understand and it’s so nice to have a community that sees my pain and supports

Life changing

At 72, had MECFS for 33 years. I’m so glad I finally decided to try Visible band. Seeing actual data in so many areas helps me make informed decisions about “what can I do today?” It has always been like shooting in the dark but I’ve only had this several weeks and am able to have better days now based on my readings. I feel like my data is very accurate and backed by scientific studies. Of course, wish I had tried it sooner!

Visible

It has been a dream when it comes to managing my CFS!

Finally something that can help me…

The data and trends I get from this wearable app is amazing and extremely helpful. I appreciate the research and dedication it clearly took to provide quality insights and metrics for our bodies. I have Long Covid, hEDS, and other limiting factors; this app has helped me greatly in planning how I’m apple to expend myself during the day.

building in time for checking in with myself with chronic illness

I used the free version of this app for well over a year and then recently purchased the arm band/wrist band. I really appreciate the ability to customize symptom tracking while also logging impacts that may affect my symptoms, such as exertion or custom daily impacts.

I have used multiple other trackers before, and even ones specific for chronic illness, but this one is my favorite.

I will also say that the team does a great job soliciting feedback and making updates.

Love it more than I thought I would

I’m surprised by how helpful the data I’ve gathered with this is. It’s helped me pace myself and make good energy-use decisions. It’s a relief to have a tracker that tells me I should be resting rather than one that yells at me for not getting enough steps.

Perfect

I love everything that this band does for me. Helps me to keep track of my heart rate and to slow down when I’m doing too much.
I have Long Covid, fibromyalgia and CFS. It really helps so much. I was debating buying it for ages due to not just the band price but the subscription price but now I’m really happy I did. Highly recommend to anyone
