No notifications
I just set this up but I don’t get notifications on my phone.
Don’t buy any cameras
I’ve had 3 cameras for a few years and it’s always been unreliable. One camera I’m not even able to use anymore because it disconnected from the app for too long…. Now customer support says I can’t use it without downloading a new app and the other 2 cameras would have to be on this app….Don’t buy any cameras that need this app, if you already did return them and get something else !

Bonded with another user
I got this device and it’s connected to another user and have put in a request for a month to have it unbounded so I can connect and they haven’t replied or done it yet
No notifications
No longer provides movement notifications which makes it next to useless as a baby monitor.
Clunky, no daylight savings option!
How basic is it to have a daylight savings adjustment??? Instead you have to manually adjust all your devices. Pain in the rear.
If the power goes out, ask the devices need to be reinstalled! Pain in the rear! Does the job, in the barest of ways. Could be so much improved.

Don’t bother app or buying products
Honestly don’t bother, bought the wi-fi cat feeder. Have it not even an inch apart from router and it still won’t connect. Garbage app and even more garbage products. Don’t waste your money or time like me
Camera
The camera it’s self is good but it has some flaws … like I changed my WiFi code an had to reset the whole camera to use it again for some the push notifications won’t send to my phone
Frustrating
Just bought couple of weeks ago. Worked fine for the first few days then when not home (when i need to be able to view it) it always says offline and so is essentially useless.
Push Notifications Not Working
I’m about to go out of town for awhile, so I booted this up for the first in a few months, and I cannot get push notifications! They used to work fine, and now nothing! This is worthless as a security device if the push notifications aren’t functional.
Update
Could you update the app to support the widget for the most recent apple update? There’s no widget so I can’t just turn lights on/ off without entering the app.
Full screen iPhone
Why is the timing off yet again by 10 to 30 seconds - sometimes a minute? Why does my iPhone screen freeze when I try to see the live feed in full screen mode? it expands to cover

Notification issues
The app used to work great - the product kept going offline. Now the product works good when you can finally get it to connect to your device HOWEVER the notifications will not work. Everything is set to receive notifications BUT the app still will not push them through to my device. FIX THIS!!!!! Per Apple this is a developer issue.

No notifications!
I am not getting any notifications from Vivitar themselves regarding any activity on my camera. it is up-to-date and all notifications on my iPhone are turned on and there is not a simple way to connect with Vivitar to ask what the issue might be. Please have an email or a contact number at the top on the app where we can find it. Please contact me and let me know why I am not getting notifications from your cameras to my phone. I used to, but I don’t anymore.

A little bit annoying but awesome.
I caught a guy trying to steal and the alarm scared him off and he didn’t even steal anything.
But the problems are,
1. when I check the “playback” button sometimes it says “the end” even tho I had put a 128G sd card.
2. It used to give me a notification and movement were detected but now it just doesn’t.

Pet genius??? More like starve your pet
Over an hour trying to set this up , gave up will return the item
Only once
The help f&q only gives suggestions as to what is wrong. Doesn’t tell you how to fix it. Worked once. Went to bed and then it didn’t work. Said it was offline, but all lines are working in house. Can’t get the blue light to blink fast. Ugh. I needed a vacation feeder. Now I have to spen $$$$ on doggie daycare for 2 dogs.

Could be better
Satisfied with my product, but this app could be way better. I like the features but I wish they would work more. My router is on the ceiling of my apartment and the feeder is literally right underneath it but it loads very slow and the range shows a little under 90%. It circles most of the time and you can’t even set the schedule when the feeder is offline which would be beneficial when I change something at night when it’s off.
Wish the app had more features also.

Notifications Stopped
I’m no longer receiving any notifications, which is quite frustrating. I have tried everything. Please fix this issue.
