How do I set up VLC Pal?

Setup is easy and requires helper applications to be installed on your computer, which are available for free at www.hexbeerium.com. Once the helper applications are installed, you can connect your iOS device to your computer to begin using the remote control and file sharing features.

Is VLC Pal free to use?

The app is supported by ads, meaning it is free to download and use with advertisements. You can remove these ads through an in-app purchase, offering a premium, ad-free experience.

What devices is VLC Pal compatible with?

The application is designed for iOS devices. To use its remote control and file sharing features, you will need to install companion software on your PC or Mac computer. Specific iOS version compatibility is not detailed but typically requires a recent version.

What are the main use cases for VLC Pal?

The primary use cases include controlling VLC playback from a distance, such as when watching movies on a large screen connected to your computer. It's also useful for queuing up videos from YouTube or podcasts directly to your computer's VLC, and for easily transferring files between your iOS device and computer.
