No Longer Works
I have had the paid version for years and I loved it. Now it crashes all the time and when you tap ? for help a blank screen comes up that you can't get out of.

Used to be my favorite VLC remote app but became unusable.

Works great until I close the app then it will crash any other time I try to open the app until I delete and reinstall

Paid for pro, crashes repeatedly.
This app is perfect when it works.. Then it stops, and you have to delete then reinstall, at least a few times a week if you watch videos daily. Latest ios 9.2 and iphone 6S plus 64gb.

Have used this app for years but now doesn't load at all. Deleted and reinstalled. Reset phone and reinstalled. Still doesn't work... iPhone support goes nowhere... Will change review when fixed.

Vlc pal needs to be reinstalled every few days because it sometimes decides to crash immediately after launch and reinstalling is the only way to fix

Good, but better if it could stream from UPNP
I like this app, but I can't use it alone, I have to use the official VLC app alongside it in order to load media from UPNP. Instead of supporting that, it requires its own proprietary standalone server to stream media. I don't see why that should be necessary. UPNP is an open standard and I wish it could find media that way.

This Vic app has everything. The only issue is when I want to eventually open the app, it may crash. Put love into your app. An update is my request.

Rubbish. 50% donโt play
Decided to buy this after reading positive reviews online. Just transferred 12 movies, in mp4, avi and mov format. All of them play fine in Flex player. VLC Pal only played 5 successfully. 4 just say โcannot open movieโ and the rest only play the audio. What a waste of ยฃ2.49 Avoid like the plague. I donโt understand the rave reviews for this product, it is dreadful.

Amazing And Convenient
Love it! Would only be better if the mouse cursor would disappear after using. Instead I have to open up Logitech Touch Mouse App and touch the pad to make it disappear, but I still don't have to get up, so awesome either way...

Was my favorite
App no longer works. It connects to the VLC host computer like always, let's be enjoy "now playing" for about 5 seconds then crashes every time. My playlist file is 3.5megs, but every other remote plays it perfectly. All host and network settings are perfect - it's just this app. :(
Great app, ugly UI
Great, functional app, no complaints about functionality. There needs to be more contrast in the UI though, also the app icon MUST be changed to something more clean. I hope my feedback can be taken constructive criticism to help this papp improve.

Works great, but the app frequently has to reconnect. I also don't understand why it hangs after connecting, it should skip the connected screen altogether.
